Author's pov:-
They went to the car and started to namjoon's house.
"Chim, what happened?", she asked scared since he was driving at a high speed.
"I don't know, y/n. Namjoon Hyung texted saying it's an emergency and to bring you along with me", he said eyes focused on the road.
They reached namjoon's apartment in 10 minutes. They entered the lift and pressed the floor number. The lift came to a halt with a ding indicating they reached the floor.
They rang the bell and waited for Namjoon to open the door.
Namjoon opened the door for them. They went in and found the rest of the members already in the living room.
Namjoon closed the door and rejoined everyone.
"Hyung, what happened?", Tae asked.
"I and jungkook were investigating a case recently, and we got a clue to find the killer. And we found this clue in y/n's recording", namjoon said while looking at her.
"What??", everyone gasped in unison except namjoon and jungkook.
"What are you talking about, Namjoon?", she asked,
"Yes y/n. You remember you showed us the recording from the alley 2 years ago?", jungkook started.
" Yes, I remember", she said a shiver running down her spine.
" Can you give the footage if you still have it?", Namjoon asked.
"Just a minute. I do have it but I need to search for it", she said taking her phone.
"Hyung, what happened?", jimin asked impatiently.
" You will know soon", namjoon said.
"Here, this is it", she said and handed him her phone.
He connected the phone to his laptop and played the video.
"So, as you can see in the scene here. You notice this guy right", he said pointing toward the guy who was holding the man on his knees. They all nodded.
He opened another slide with another picture.
"He is the one who is in the video", he said turning the laptop for them to get a clear view.
"So, what is it about this guy?", yoongi asked.
"Hyung, he is a bodyguard", jungkook stated.
"What is the point here?", yoongi questioned raising his eyebrow.
"He is Jackson Wang's bodyguard. Not to mention, he was with him for so long", Namjoon said while walking to the table and picking up a file.
"And, this is something very confidential but since Jungkook and I need some help from you all we will telling you the situation. Three victims were found dead, with multiple cuts on the body and half burnt. And, this is not the first time. Jackson was involved in a case like this a few years ago but got away with his influence. And, we found out this bodyguard was at the crime scene. Jungkook's friend took pictures before the police arrived so we got his photo", the older explained while placing the file for them to take a look at.
"And, what is it that you want us to do now?", hobi asked.
" Well, we need to sneak into Jackson's office and hack his system because most of his information is stored in it", jungkook said turning their attention towards him.
"How do you plan to do it?", Suga asked.
"This plan is risky so I want consent from everyone. Jungkook and I planned to send y/n to his office since it's an easy move and suga will help us hack his computer", Namjoon explained.
" So, are we going to use y/n as bait?", Jin asked.
"Technically, yes. And that's why we asked everyone to come", jungkook said.
"So, what is it?", Namjoon and Jungkook asked.
"I will do it", y/n said slowly.
"Y/n, do you understand that it is very risky? Anything might happen to you", jimin snapped.
"Exactly, y/n. I don't want to see you in pain again", hobi said while holding her hand tightly as if he might lose her forever if he lets her go.
"Oppa! Please I know what I am doing. This is not gonna end if we don't stop", she said.
"I will help if y/n wants to do it", suga said.
"Hyung, please not you too", jimin said.
"Jimin, let us do it. We can if we are together", jin said.
"Ok, let's do it. But promise me y/n, that you will be safe and I am with you", jimin said.
"I promise. I will be safe", she said.
They all agreed and started to plan their strategy.
Will it be a good end? Will all of them be safe? Or will someone be leaving the rest?
