The blowing in Asante's ear began as a whisper as she stepped out of Obadias' vintage nineteen seventy-seven Cadillac El Dorado. The sun's mid-morning rays shone through the trees and lit the path to the cabin as the mist from the lake cooled the air. It created a spectacular array of light. The whispering in her ears grew into a rushing wind yet the air all around her was still. Multi-colored pebbled, gray stones adorned the path.

Each step Asante took, she felt lighter and lighter, almost as if she were leaving her body. As she took her first step up onto the stairs of the porch, the door opened. Tears began to pour down Asante's face. The eyes that met her, mirrored her own, yet with the most incredibly green hazel pigment dusted with gold. Aissa. She ran up the rest of the steps to embrace her sister. All of the pain, fear, and loss left her body as they hugged and kissed each other's faces, examined each other's' hair, hands, and skin. They began to Eskimo, butterfly, and sissy kiss within moments. It was as if they were never apart, not so much in words at first, both not knowing where to start. Then Aissa took the lead inviting Asante into the large living room.

A huge sectional was in the center of the room and large potted plants were everywhere. A water fountain made of stone took up most of one wall, while the opposite wall had a very large bay window with a view of the lake.

They sat on the couch, looked at each other and erupted into laughter. Once they collected themselves, Asante started with, "Obadias has given me an idea of what's going on, but who is after us, who has been manipulating our lives all this time and why?"

"It's not just our lives, sister, it's all of humanity. There is the reality that you experienced, which most of the population on earth knows. A reality filled with distractions, unfulfilling jobs, education without knowledge, false ideas that continue to separate man from himself and universe in order to negate what we are truly intended for."

"Which is?" Asante interjected.

"To live harmoniously connected with Source and all that we encounter," Aissa said simply.

Asante laughed out loud, "You mean utopia, paradise on earth? You don't really believe that's possible?" Asante declared more than asked.

"I know that I am your baby sister but if you will allow me to teach you, you will lead and teach us how to achieve that said paradise."

Asante couldn't help herself, she interrupted again, "But how do you know?"

"First, because Mommy knew and gave her life aiming to protect the knowledge. Second, because I've studied the most ancient and obscure texts on this planet and they all point to the same thing, a coming of a new age. And third, people I trust with the ability to see various paths into what is relatively known as the future have seen it. But trust me, sister, there's no easy road ahead and if you think that what you've experienced up until now was a tornado, buckle up because there never really was a Kansas to begin with."

Asante was doing her best to follow her sister down the rabbit hole, but the reality she had known only a few weeks earlier still filled her mind. Despite what she had encountered over the past few weeks, she struggled with letting go of the reality that had given her stability. However, she was determined to know the truth about the new actuality her sister described.

She answered with, "So who has been behind the design of these constructs that we interpret as life?"

Aissa smiled. "It's not so much as who has designed them," she asserted, "as much as it is, who are those that guarantee these constructs remain in place. That would be The Sephiren and other sub-factions working on their behalf. They have created a grid where most of the population doesn't veer off course. The grid's purpose is to monitor and maintain the status quo. Through means such as media, entertainment, false religion, politics, even the Patriot Act, all serve to keep us in place. We call this the veil. And most people do as society would have them do. They keep their heads down, go to work, watch the game, and go to some type of religious gathering. And in turn, they are mainly disconnected from their lives. They carry all the burden of the responsibility that life puts on them, yet they enjoy very little of the possibility that it also offers. They ultimately become slaves of these constructs. Never aware enough to actually be in The Now and enjoy the love and power that flows through it. And although society has changed or evolved per se, The Sephiren's aim hasn't. Enslave their hearts and minds, restrain their power.
