Brennan knew that The Sephiren had been able to track him before Asante saved him. He assumed that they had discarded him as no longer useful. Or, somehow, when Asante saved his life, the process left the method in which they had been tracking him inoperable. Because they had left him alone since the helicopter exploded. He hadn't tried to make contact with Asante either in case the truth of the situation was that The Sephiren were waiting for him to do so that they could orchestrate another trap for her.
By the time he hiked out of the Santa Lucia Mountains he was determined to be reunited with her—if she would have him—and do whatever was in his power to destroy The Sephiren. He always had an intuition that his relationship with The Sephiren might end in turmoil which is why he worked so hard to prove himself valuable, despite his inability to entrain the world around him.
However, the most incredible thing happened while he hiked. For the first time in his life, he was able to be present and connect to the elements around him. It was beautiful and he was baffled by his previous notions of exploiting this ability and understood that it was a harmonious relationship between himself and the universe. That it is the most synergetic and efficient way of existing. He wasn't sure about what he was specifically aligned to yet, but he knew he could integrate now and wanted to be a part of spreading the truth. After he reached his off-the-grid safe house in the rural area of Montgomery Township, New Jersey, a little less than a week later, he had been enthralled with the unfolding of that truth on a national and global scale.
The war for humanity had begun and both sides were playing to win. The last counter-attack from Asante and The Wave this morning when they launched a worldwide meditation to glean the location of the four forty-four set the world ablaze with a thirst for more. The truth spread because the experience couldn't be denied. People's understanding of the mass meditation was without fear which caused them to immediately recognize the freedom that had been absent from their lives. People who were scared of The Wave only moments before were now questioning the way things had been and were eager to explore the possibilities of what The Wave claimed to be true. The fabric of the deception pulled over man's eyes was torn and light was shining in on a new reality.
By dusk, the Dow had slipped to a record-breaking low. Walk-outs at places of work and education had been widespread, protests, and riots broke out calling for the immediate release of the four forty-four all over the world. The Sephiren had been silent all day.
Brennan decided to take a breath and meditate. He looked at the clock on his wall five fifty-five pm. He closed his eyes and set his intention to be ready. He didn't know when, he didn't know how, but he knew he would be prepared and that he'd never fail her again.
There was no way to tell if their broadcast had delayed the demise of J.StaRR and the four forty-four or sped up Farraday's intention for the group. However, the broadcast did change the playing field. After identifying herself as Asante Argueta to the operator at Atlantic Aviation, she was able to charter a plane within minutes for them to get to Mac Arthur Airport on Long Island, only fifteen minutes away from Farraday Research and Laboratories.
After booking the trip for all thirty-three of them the operator surprisingly ended the call with "Go get them, ride The Wave, Asante." Which surprised her but also left Asante pontificating the impact of their broadcast.
The four-hour flight gave her and the others time to discuss it. She knew the move would cause discord on the grid but she did not anticipate the response to be as immediate as it appeared to be manifesting.
"The world is actually waking up before our eyes! I can feel the shift energetically already!" Marie exclaimed as she checked Instagram mid-flight.
"I hope so, but I can't help but feel like it's all happening too fast for some reason? Like we're not seeing something, you know what I mean?" Asante asked turning to Michael.
