"Sandy...," Helena called her daughter as she saw her sitting beside Tanya, bawling. She went near her and put her hands on its shoulder.

Sandy looked up and spoke while sobbing, "Mom... What did I do?"

Helena couldn't utter a word so she just let her daughter cry it all and just stay with her what ever happens.

"They took care of her already. She was
s-stabbed and..."

Sandy couldn't seem to continue so Helena hugged her tightly and let her daughter cry on her shoulder.

"Mom, nasa taas... nasa taas lang ako no'n. Hindi ko nasamahan si Tanya...," Sandy paused.

"Napaka-walang kwenta ko," she continued and the next thing Helena heard was a loud sob.

After a few minutes of crying, Sandy finally stopped and Helena volunteered to buy them foods.

Sandy and Tanya are now left alone.

"Anak!," Lina shouted as she slammed the door open which made Sandy hurriedly stood up. She looked down and put her hands behind her while fidgeting.

Lina took a glance at her and to Tanya who's laying down the hospital bed, sleeping. She then sat on the chair beside her daughter and held her hand tightly.

Lina was already crying when Sandy spoke. "I-I'm sorry po," she said while sobbing. The former inhaled and exhaled whilst not looking at the latter.

Sandy was about to leave the room when Lina asked her. "Are you okay?," there was care in her voice.

Sandy was still puzzled, thinking what she's supposed to say.

"Y-yes po. I managed to hide in my room when I heard them talking about their guns," she managed to reply but still stuttering.

"Anong sabi ng Doctor?," Lina asked coldly.

Sandy wiped off the lone tear on her face, "She'll wake up soon daw po and immediately sending her here helped her to recover fast... they managed to help her."

"May CCTV ba ang bahay mo?," Lina once again asked her.

Sandy: I can show you the CCTV footage po.

Lina then asked Sandy to leave her with Tanya which the latter obliged.

"Anak..."

She started to caress her hand.

"Hindi ko malaman kung gaano kasakit ang nararamdaman mo ngayon pero alam ko kung gaano kasakit 'yung naramdaman mo nung hindi ko kayo natanggap. Handa na 'ko, Tanya. Nakita ko na mahal mo talaga siya at kahit na nasa ibang bansa sya, pupuntahan mo talaga."

"Bilisan mo ang paggaling, ayokong maramdaman ni Sandy nang sobrang tagal yung naramdaman ko nung nawala sya..."

Lina kept on talking to Tanya while Sandy waited outside the room.

When Lina stepped out of the room, Sandy immediately stood up and fidget again.

Lina examined Sandy if she's okay and when she finished doing so, she straightly walked away from her.

Sandy went inside Tanya's room and then sat beside her.

She heard someone knocking on the door, she stood up and opened it only to see three polices.

"Good evening, ma'am. We're here to ask you questions about what happened to Ms. Ohales," the police in the middle spoke to her.

This is what she's been nervous of, telling the police everything she knows when she has nothinh to say but the last part of the story, where she saw Tanya already laying down.

She knows she has to talk to them whether she's nervous or not since she badly want to help Tanya gets justice she deserve.

She nodded, went out of the room, and closed the door.

"Can you tell us everything you know about this case?"

Sandy looked directly to his eyes and stated, "I didn't see anything since I was inside my room and it happened in the living room. All I know is that, I saw her, laying down the carpet and... she's stabbed, hurt and her eyes were shut," though nervous, Sandy was glad that she finished her statement.

"Do you have any cameras inside your house?," the police man once again asked her.

"There's just one camera operating, the one outside my house. It's atop the gate."

"Thank you, ma'am. We'll keep on investigating about what happened and if we will need you again, we will surely get back to you," the police man ended the conversation and walked passed to Sandy.

She once again entered the room and a few moments later she heard the door swung open. She looked at it and it was her sister, carrying a bunch of foods.

She was about to thank her sister when another person entered the room.

Lina then hurriedly fixed Tanya's things which confused the two, Mina and Sandy. They were just looking at her when she suddenly spoke. "Ililipat namin sya ng ospital. Sa trusted doctor," said Lina.

Mina looked at her sister standing beside her and then looked down to her hands only to see her fidgeting.

"B-but... she's getting better na po. They took an action already... "

Lina without looking at Sandy replied, "Ang sabi ng Dad nya, ilipat sya."

Sandy couldn't disagree and just nod her head. "Saan po?," she asked while wiping her tears.

"Hindi ko alam kung gugustuhin ni Jose na makita ka. Mabuti nang hindi mo muna malaman."

Sandy's tears continued to flow when she heard that. Mina on the other hand, stroked her hand up and down on her sister's back.

After an hour, an ambulance took Tanya to her new hospital to take care of her.

Helena convinced Sandy to not force them anymore about going with Tanya and Lina because the situation might get wrose.

Sandy was told to just wait for Lina's message if ever she would get to see Tanya.

She saw how they lifted Tanya's car into the ambulance, how Lina looked at her and how everything weakened her after the ambulance left their sight.

Everyone was silent the whole trip to their house; Sandy looking at the window, Mina driving, and Helena sitting beside Mina, looking at the road.

The time Sandy stepped inside the hospital, running together with the interns, Tanya laying down the bed, she started to blame herself for everything.

They all didn't know how to overcome this. How can Sandy move on when she's blaming herself for everything?
