"Sandy, nasan ka?," asked Tanya. "Tani, nandito ako kila Mae, 'di ba? Bakit?," Sandy replied.

Tanya nodded even though Sandy can't see her right now. She brushed her forehead and asked, "T-taga-saan nga pala sya ulit?"

Sandy couldn't believe what she just heard that made her chuckle nervously, "Babe, hindi mo ba talaga alam? I thought I told you na?"

"Y-yeah, nasabi mo naman na. Nakalimutan ko lang," she answered back and stopped writing on a paper.

"Same village lang kami, Tani. Do you remember now?"

"Yes. Sorry.."

There was a brief silence before Tanya spoke again.

"Dinner with me?"

"Uh..."

"Bakit?"

"Tani, kasi, dito na kami kakain e. Nakakahiya naman tanggihan si tita. Tomorrow na lang?"

"Yeah, sure."

"Alright," Sandy smilingly replied. She's been confused whether Tanya is still on her office or no. She told her she's going to Mae's residence when her girlfriend's still working on her duty as a business owner.

"Nasa office ka pa rin ba?," she finally got to ask her.

"Yes, but malapit na naman ako matapos dito," she continued talking but someone interrupted from the other line.

"Sandy! Tawag ka ni Vince!," and that made Tanya furrowed.

"Coming!"

"Nandyan si Vince?," Tanya softly asked her.

"I was about to tell you e pero tinawagan mo na 'ko. Kakarating nya lang actually. Napadaan lang sya tapos tita didn't want him to leave pa."

"Hmm. Okay."

Tanya ended the call and continued working on the papers in front of her.

Hindi ka pupunta ron. Hindi, Tanya. Hindi.

Pero bakit kasi nandon si Vince? Akala ko ba wala sya rito sa Pinas.

T: Nandito ako sa labas.

S: Why? I'm going.

Tanya waited for Sandy to come out and when she already did, she smiled timidly.

Sandy walked to her and hugged her, put her head on her shoulder, and closed her eyes.

"Kakapunta mo lang?"

"Yes"

"Pagod ka na ba sa work? Wanna sleep na?"

"I'm fine, mahal. Kumain ka na ba?"

"We were about to eat eh but then you texted me."

Sandy faced her, parted their hug, held her hand and walked to the car door.

"Saan tayo? Nandyan lang bahay mo, babe."

Her girlfriend didn't bother saying a word and just hopped inside the car and so she did.

"You sure you'll drive?," she asked Sandy who's currently fixing her chair.

"Yes, babe. We'll go somewhere."
