((This is rewrite!!)

Max was sitting in her bed, staring down at the floor below. Neil had found her report card, he wasn't happy with her results. So, she was waiting for him to make his grand appearance. She wasn't exactly scared of Neil, just scared of the pain he could bring her if he wanted to. She looked outside, the thunderstorm outside was calming down, the sun starting to poke out from behind the clouds.

Barely even seconds later, she heard slow paced footsteps  coming from down the hall, she knew it was Neil. Her mother was at work, even if billy was home, he wouldn't dare intervene. Neil didn't hurt her mother much, not ever seeing the point in it. Her classes were always really hard, she even did as much as to try and get tutoring from Lucas and Dustin after school considering they were doing better than her grades wise. She could care less for Neil's approval, she just wanted her mothers approval.

The door knob turned, taking her attention and placing it onto Neil. She looked up, glaring at him. He returned the glare, walking infront of where she sat on her bed.

Before Neil could say anything, she cut him off, not caring if he would get mad at her. "I tried, my mother said that was all that matters." She spoke firmly, not wanting Neil to care more than her own mother when he wasn't even her real dad. "Your mother is full of shit. You're barely passing."Neil said harshly. Max crossed her arms, Looking away from Neil.

"Look at me when I'm talking Maxine." Neil commented, you could tell he was getting angry by the sound of his voice. "Sorry I guess.." she looked back over to him. His brows were furrowed, his nose scrunched, a frown tugging at his lips. She wanted to roll her eyes, but refrained so Neil wouldn't get more angry with her than he already was. She completely thought Neil was being unreasonable.

She didn't like his bullshit, it was stupid. "Get out." She said, done with him for the day. He scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Fine. This isn't over yet." He turned on his heel, walking towards the door of her room. Slamming it on purpose. She had an idea to get back at Neil, even though it would completely wreck her room.

She knew Neil would have to pay for any damages to the house, as he was the one who owned it and payed all the expenses. Her mother wouldn't be all too happy with her, but it would be totally worth it. She jumped up from her bed, getting ready to break a lot of things.

She started off by denting her walls all over her room, she looked over to her mirror, her eyes glimmered, she walked over to it, shattering it. She tried to refrain from completely trashing her room, as she would still have to return to it sometime tomorrow.

By the end of it, broken items were sprawled across the floor, glass shattered everywhere. She sat on her knees, easing her fists in triumph. Though her hands were cut and bruised, it felt good to finally get back at Neil. She didn't even realize her bleeding until a couple seconds later. The blood that dug into the carpet made it look like someone had been murdered. The only thing murdered there was Neil's bank account.

She looked around, admiring her work. She stood up, brushing on the small glass bits off her cuts.
She couldn't do anything to Neil physically, but If she couldn't get back at him like that, this was fine too. She picked up a pencil, scribbling a few words to tie this whole place together.

Neil,
Enjoy your giant bill you old man.
Fuck you.
Max

She sat down the note on her desk, leaving it in an obvious place Neil would find it. She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. Her hand were slightly numb from the glass, but she could care less. She walked out of her room, already knowing where she was headed off to, a huge smirk plastered over her face. She put on her shoes that were waiting for at the door.
