Three weeks Later
The worries that have been clouding Nat's mind slowly faded away. She received the job offer and accepted it which allows her to apply for a work permit to stay in South Korea. Nat moved into her new apartment that was closer to work but further away from Jungkook. Jungkook pouted when he found out the distance between his apartment and her apartment.
Everything was going smoothly until one morning.
While Nat was working at her desk, she felt multiple people staring at her from every angle. Her phone started to buzz from an incoming call. It was Jungkook. She left her desk to go somewhere secluded.
"Hello," Nat answered
"Nat, where are you?" Jungkook asked
" I'm at work, I told you last night," Nat replied
" You need to leave now!" Jungkook insisted
"Wait, why? What's going on?" Nat inquired anxiously
"Someone leaked out information about you and our relationship to the press," Jungkook grunted
"What!" Nat exclaimed
" Yes, you need to get out of there! There will be a black van waiting for you at the back of the building," Jungkook explained
Before Nat can head back to her desk, her manager Young Jae ran towards her.
"Nat, you need to leave right now. The press is crowding around the entrance of the building!" Young Jae explained
"Okay, I'll go get my things," Nat said
Nat ran back to her desk, she gather her belongings while Young Jae waited for her. After they headed to the back doors of the building where a black van waited for Nat.
" I'm sorry Sa-Jang-nim," Nat apologized
"It's not your fault," Young-Jae replied
Once Young Jae opened the door, Nat ran out and went into the black van. Inside the van, Nat tried to calm her heart down. It felt like it was beating out of her chest. The driver informed her that they will be going to Hype Headquarters. Her phone buzzed again from an incoming call. It was Tawyna.
"Hello," Nat answered
"Natalie, you're dating a celebrity?" Tawyna
"Not now, sis," Nat sighed
"What's wrong?" Tawyna asked
" I just had my boss help me escape my workplace. The press surrounded the building," Nat explained
"Oh my gosh!"Did you tell anyone that you were dating this person?" " Tawnya exclaimed
" No, I barely have any friends here," Nat replied
Nat's phone buzzed with a new message from Hana asking if she was okay.
"Tawyna, I have to call you later," Nat said
Nat hung up and called Hana right away.
"Nat! Are you okay?" Hana exclaimed.
"I'm fine now, I just left work. The press surrounded my company's building. Are you okay?" Nat asked
" I'm fine but people are blowing up the shop and the DMs on Instagram," Hana said
Nat's heart sank. She felt her head start to spin.
"No, No, This can't be happening,"
"Natalie-ssi, we're here," the driver announced.
"Hana, I have to go. I'm so sorry," Nat apologized.
"Don't. Call me later if you can," Hana said.
Nat opened the van doors and was greeted by two bodyguards who escort her into the building. Once in the building, they escort her into a boardroom where Jungkook, his manager, the CEO, and the public relations manager sat at a table waiting for Nat.
"Fuck me,"
