During the meeting, Nat wanted the earth to open up and swallow her whole. The look on her boyfriend's face made her stomach drop. He was pissed. Thankfully neither one of them was hurt but the possibility was there, especially for Nat. Most of the people in the boardroom suggested releasing a statement informing the public of the relationship. This made Nat's stomach turn. What she was going to say next was going to do the same to Jungkook.
"What do you mean you're going back to Canada?" Jungkook exclaimed
Jungkook and Nat went back to Jungkook's apartment. More security. Nat sat on the couch with her face in her face trying to calm herself from all adrenaline and anxiety running through her body.
" I don't have a choice, Jungkook!" Nat exclaimed
Jungkook saw the tear welling up in his girlfriend's eyes.
" I got an email after we left your company of my termination," Nat said
"What?!" Jungkook shouted
"They fired me 'cause of the shit that went down today. They said it would be best for me and my safety to not work there. I called partial bullshit," Nat explained.
"They can't do this to you!" Jungkook yelled
"Well, they can," Nat mumbled
Jungkook walked around to the couch and sat next to his girlfriend.
"That means that you have to go back to Canada?" Jungkook asked
Nat nodded.
"Canada is not my home, you are."
Jungkook pulled Nat into his chest and hold her tightly. Nat buried her face into his chest releasing the cries that she has been holding all day. The two hold each other until they both fell asleep from the fatigue and stress of the day.

The statement from Bighit sent everyone into a frenzy. Social media were blowing up with responses to the news. "Jungkook has a girlfriend." Nat tried not to go onto the web to prevent herself from seeing stories about her and Jungkook. The backlash that her boyfriend has been receiving was ridiculous.
" Why does his love life have to be the topic of the news?"
For the past weeks, Nat and the help of the management team at Hybe help prepare her to leave the country. Jungkook persistently tries to find ways for Nat to stay here but has no luck. Nat was more and more afraid to leave the apartment. More media outlets and saesangs stalked her every move. When it was time to go to the airport, Nat had to say her final goodbye at Jungkook's apartment.
The two stand in front of each other in silence.
Jungkook sighed. " I don't want you to go."
Nat still looking at the ground to shield her teary eyes from the man that she loves.
Jungkook pulled her into a hug and kiss her on top of her head.
" But I have to. I'm sorry," Nat cried.
Jungkook hugged his lover higher not wanting to let go. Nat did the same.
" I promise to message you everyday," Jungkook said
"It's okay if you don't cause I know that you suck at it," Nat chuckled as she dried her tears
Jungkook laughed
The ringing of Nat's phone broke the couple apart. It was time to go and Nat's footsteps felt heavy as she made her way to the door. Jungkook grab her wrist and pulled her into one last kiss.
" I love you," Jungkook uttered
" I love you too," Nat smiled.
" Why did I allow myself to get this deep into you? It was supposed to be temporary. "
