Three weeks later,
For the first week back home in Toronto, Nat stayed with her sister Tawyna. She didn't talk much about what happened in South Korea and Tawyna respected that. She did not even mention to her parents that their youngest child was back home and staying with her. Tawyna knew she was under a lot of stress already. She was surprised that Nat came home one day to tell her that she found a place to live and a job at a tattoo parlor and a restaurant as a server.
Nat had to turn all her social media profiles to private and shut off her direct messages. She was getting flooded with messages. Even the tattoo studio that she worked at in Seoul was getting swarmed with comments and messages. It was so bad to the point, they had to turn off their comments. Nat could not help but blame herself for all this.
" I should have ended before it started."
She would watch recent interviews of him and the guys and see that he was not doing well. He was still pissed but did not want to make the fans worried about him. So he would do his best to smile and go on with life. He would avoid the comments and questions that were about our relationship as much as possible. Sometimes he would have to end the lives early because it was becoming too much for him.\
Nat wanted to reach out but his company advised her not to.
While leaving the restaurant, she spotted a familiar figure near the entrance.
"Tyler!" Nat exclaimed
" Hi Nat, how are you?" Tyler asked with a smile
Nat started walking off but was stopped by the grip of her ex.
" We need to tell you something," Tyler said
"No, we do not. I have nothing else to say to you," Nat explained sternly
" Well, I do. Please hear me out," Tyler exclaimed
Nat rolled her eyes and sighed. "Shoot."
"I want to preface by saying that I love you, Nat, always have and will. I know who leaks your relationship to the press," Tyler explained
" What?!" Nat yelled
Tyler sighed. " I told photos of you and Jungkook and gave them to your father. He sent them to this news outlet in South Korea."
" You're shittin' me right now!" Nat yelled.
" I am so sorry," Tyler pleaded.
" You know if anyone from his company finds out about this, you can be sued! I will be in more shit because of my association with you! You fucking idiot!" Nat shouted
A couple of people walking by stopped and turned their heads toward the commotion going on. Tyler moved closer to calm Nat down but she moved back.
" Don't fucking touch me! I'm so sick and tired of you, Dad, and Mom trying to control me! Let me live my fucking life! Tyler, we will never be together!" Nat exclaimed
Nat stomped passed Tyler as he continue to plead for her forgiveness. She quicken her pace as she felt her eyes welled up with tears.
Before going home, Nat had to stop by Tawyna's place to grab the last of her things and give back her spare keys. Bad mistake. Nat was greeted by her parents and Tawnya sitting in the living room.
Nat rolled her eyes and sighed. " I'm just here to gather the rest of my stuff."
" Natalie, where are your manners? Not even a hello or good evening," Nat's mom scolded her youngest daughter heading towards the guest room.
Nat stopped in her track. " Hello, and goodbye."
She continues her trek to the guest room to retrieve a duffle bag full of clothes.
Nat's dad got up from the couch and followed her down the hall to the guest room. "Nat, you come back here and speak to us with more respect!"
" With you guys, respect is earn not given," Nat blurted
Nat's dad clenched his jaw and watched Nat pick up her duffle bag from off the ground. He blocks the doorway as Nat tried to leave the room.
" Excuse me, I need to get by," Nat sighed
Nat prayed that her dad would just let her leave. She had enough of her family except for Tawyna. She never wanted to see their faces again.
"Where are you?" Nat's dad demanded
"Home. Can you please step aside and let me go," Nat explained
Nat tried to push her way through her father but was pushed back down to the down with force.
" I will not tolerate this disrespect!" Nat's dad yelled
Without a word, Nat gather herself from the ground and tried to pass through the door again. However, her father was still hindered to pass. With her duffle bag, she knocks her dad out of her way. Nat kept walking not looking back. She was done for good.
Her mom and Tawyna meet her at the entrance of the hallway. Nat locked eyes with her older sister and smiled slightly. " Thanks, sis for everything
Nat walked toward the door. Nat's mom watched as her youngest daughter left the apartment without uttering another word to her.
