The next morning, everyone came around to John Bs. They didn't question what happened, just asked if I was okay.

I told them yes because I don't like the attention.

Plus I was only in a little pain and a minor concussion. And I know this because its happend before and I actually got it checked out by a doctor so I know when it actually is one at this point.

We were on the mainland where they were building a house, John B was on the roof balancing on one foot with a beer on hand.
Pope was on the deck looking around at the tools.
Kiara was inside looking around.
JJ was sitting on a scaffold that the workers were using to build the house. His legs hanging off and me sitting on his lap.

"Thats what, a three story fall to the deck?" Pope asked John b. "I give you about a 1 in 3 chance of survival." Pope finished.

"Hm. Should I do it?" John b asked liking his pointer finger and putting it in the air checking what way the wind is going.

"Yeah, you should jump. I'll shoot you on the way down." Pope answered holding a drill up in the sky pointed at John b.

"You'll shoot me?" John b asked, pointing finger guns at Pope.

"Yeah" Pope simply replied

"They're gonna have Japanese toilets with towel warmers." I hear kie say from down below. She had just exited the house.

"Of course they are why wouldn't they?" JJ said from behind me with his chin on my shoulder, his breath tickling my neck.
I lean back into him more and he gave me a hug and kissed my neck lightly.

"This used to be a turtles habitat. But who cares about the turtles, I guess." Kie said.

"I cant have cold towels and neither can Ms. Princess over here" jj commented.

"Can you please not kill yourself?" Kie asked John b.

"Don't spill that beer im not giving you another one" JJ said up to John B.

Suddenly a gust of wind came and John b dropped the beer so he could keep his balance.

I somehow managed to catch his drink as it was falling.

With an impressed and shocked look on my face, I turned my head around to face JJ and smirked.

"It didn't spill" I said cheekily.

"That it did not" he replied smiling big and impressed.

"Nice catch Vee" I hear the rest of them say.

I dont say anything back, just raise my beer as if I'm giving a toast before chugging it, giving JJ a sip in-between.

"Hey uhh... security is here. Let's wrap it up." Pope gave us all notice.

"Boys are early today", John b mumbles.

"Alright Humpty Dumpty, let's roll. And baby, you gotta get off me if you don't wanna get caught." JJ told John b then me.

"Yup, let's go!" I replied getting off of JJ and jumping down the scaffold.

"Gary is that you?" JJ asked shouting.

"Wait Gary's here? Heyy man, long time no see. Ive missed you chasing us around all the time." I said laughing.

Everyone started to run through the house, and once we got to the bottom of the stairs, JJ tripped slightly almost making me fall over him. He held out his hand and I grab his arm, jumping to my feet before continuing our escape.

JJ took a left turn so I followed him while everyone else goes right, Gary is infront of us and we swerve back around to avoid getting caught.

"They're coming your way" Gary says to the other security guard. JJ gets caught up in the other security guards arms while I get caught up in Gary's.

"Not much of a hugger man" I hear JJ say.

"You know Gary if you wanted a hug you could've just asked. How about lunch next week?" I smirked winking at him and escaping his arms and running into JJs.

We keep running taking left turns until we see Pope about to jump over a fence.

"Go Pope, go, go, go, go,go." Jj and I tell him.
He went over and landed on his side.

Next was my turn, I started climbing over before feeling a hand on my ass pushing me up. JJ.

"Hurry up Vee" he rushes

"I'm goin', chill Jay" I say as he jumps over next.

Both of us landing on our feet.

"Come on Pope, fatsos coming" JJ says tapping popes shoulder then running away.

"Hey, come here you little pricks!" Gary says trying to just the fence.

I just laugh as I keep running towards the van that is parked a few feet away.

As I'm almost there John B honks the horn twice. "The bus is leaving!"

"Come on boys!" Kie says rushing them into the van.

"Oh yeah kie you can't forget about Princess Vee over here," JJ said kissing my cheek.

"Hey, I am one of the boys" I tease hitting his chest. He just laughs a kisses my cheek again.

Kie gave me a wink.

"You okay?" JJ asked me quietly, knocking his knee with mine.

I looked up at him and smiled nodding.

"Check out Gary gunning for a raise" Pope said nodding towards the open car door seeing him chasing after the van.

"Come on Gary!" JJ said starting to lean out of van.

"Wait slow down" I told John b following JJ

"Hey you little pricks!" Gary yells chasing the van.

JJ wraps an arm around my waist to make sure I don't fall out of the van while yelling at Gary.

"Come on guys, you're gonna give him a heart attack" kie warns us.

"Come here boy, you're so close! Yoy can do it. There ya go!" JJ teases Gary, finally throwing a full beer can at him.

"They domt pay you enough bro" I said chuckling

"Guys stop, stop!" Kie tells us firmly.

"Oh, come on. That sort of initiative is just begging to be punished. " JJ replies back.

"Yeah cmon kie do you be a party pooper!" I joke.

JJ laughs as ge wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me onto his lap, sitting back down in a seat.

The Outer Banks Paradise On Earth. Its the first sign i see as I look out the window while we drive home.

Passing the Mainland with all these rich people who are snobs but think they're better than everyone else, meanwhile us pogues have all the freedom in the world until we're in serious trouble.
