"What was that, though?" For real.

I'm just questioning myself.

Now that I'm a male again, I of course remember everything, and I don't regret any of it, but it all just felt like a dream.

Now that I know that it's real, it feels so strange.

My mom came rushing in, so I apologized for the shouting, but she was pretty much used to it now, so she wasn't really scared or mad, just, disappointed. Nah I'm just kidding.

I prepared for school in male clothes and then went on the bus as a male and sat next to the male Jared.

"Heyyy Jared."

He looked at me confused and I realized how gay I must've just sounded.

I coughed.

"Hey, Jared."

"Yeah, man, you sounded gay as heck for a moment there."

"Sorry, sorry."

I sat down next to him.

"Sick again yesterday?"

"Well not technically, but I may not be able to go to school every other day."

"Really?" He seemed kinda worried about me. "Why not?"

"Uh... Personal reasons?"

He shrugged.

"If you're going through something, just tell me man, I'll do whatever to help."

I waved my hands, just like Jen had done so often yesterday.

"No, no, I'm fine. Thank you, though."

"Okay, man."

He sat back, then suddenly shot back up.

"What is it?"

"I forgot to tell you! This super cute girl joined our school yesterday!"

I scratched the back of my neck.

"Ahaha... Really?"

"Yeah, and she's crazy fast, too! I think. I heard that from someone in her gym class. Think his name was John."

"Wow, that's pretty cool."

"You don't seem all that interested."

"Well, you know me, I don't really want a girlfriend."

"Trust me, bro, once you see her you'll understand."

I guess I am viewed as that cute, huh? But it's not like I'll see myself today, aside from in the mirror.

"Oh yeah, her name's Luv by the way, like L U V."

"I see, I see."

The bus came in to a stop, and me and Jared got out.

Tom was waiting for us, next to his girlfriend. Her name was Coira.

She was cute, but not as cute as me. In my opinion at least.

I haven't really talked to her before.

"Hey guys, what's up?"

Jared feigned literal death, "No... Way... Loiv... Is talking to a girl... Impossible!" He then fell to the ground. Tom and Coira laughed.

"Come on man, I can talk to women, I just choose not to."

"Sure... Sure. Help me up, will ya?" He put out a hand, grinning, and I pulled him up.

"Anyways," I began, "What's up, Tom, and uh... Coira, right?"

"Yeah, that's me." Coira said.

"Nothing much," Said Tom, louder than he normally talks.
