"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! Welcome to Noah's Ark Circus!" A ginger man yells in to the crowd, "My name is Joker. Pleased to meet 'ee!" Joker says while juggling, he drops the balls and the crowd starts laughing. "Tonight you'll see performances to stun and amaze 'ee! And now, with a great broze from our fire breathing Jumbo, the show of the century begins!" The huge man comes out from behind them and they scatter while Jumbo breathes fire. Wendy and Peter are swigging on the trapeze," First our trapeze artist, perfectly in tune with each other: Peter and Wendy! Our knife-thrower, the perfect shot who never misses his target: Dagger!" Dagger is throwing knives the women strapped to the spinning wheel."And now, a beautiful dance by that rarest of rarities," The white haired male has snakes circling his body," our own serpent-man, Snake!"
"There acts are fairly standard." The young earl with an eye patch tells his raven haired butler.
"Yes... and they don't seem to be forcing the children to perform." The demon butler responds to his master.
"Now our Aerial Artist: Kitty!" Everyone sees a women dancing on the hanging ribbons, only she has cat ears and a tail, then flips and lands on a tiger smiling. "And next...Look above ye, ladies and gents! A death-defying tightrope walk by the circus princess, Doll!" A women dressed in all white goes onto the tightrope.
"If they didn't intend to force the children to perform...Could it be coincidence that the disappearances were along the circus's route?" Ciel questions.
"Last but not least, the star of our troupe!" A tiger jumps through a burning hoop, "I bring 'ee the famous tamer of wild cats! Beast! We'd love for some audience participation for this act. Are there any volunteers?"
"No Children in the final act, either. This was a waste of time" Ciel sees Sebastian stand up," What is it? Did you find some-"
"This gent in the tailcoat sure looks eager! Please, come on stage. Step right up, sir." So that's it- This is a chance to make contact, Ciel thinks and looks a bit proud of Sebastian. Go. The only way to find a clue to these mysterious disappearances is through this circus. Still you have made contact, but how exactly do you plan to investigate while all eyes are on you?
"Now, it you'll just lie down here-" Joker begins but Sebastian just walks past him.
"Ah, what lovely round eyes you have!" He says to the CAT," Soft ears..."The crowd gasps. 'Oh, blast! Tigers are cats! 'The young earl realizes and isn't very proud of his demon butler at the moment.
"I've never seen such vivid stripes! They're adorable. Oh dear, your claws have gotten a bit too long... we'll have to groom them." Beast and Joker stand there in shock while Kitty is giggling while she watches Sebastian's little performance. "And your paw pads are full and plump. Very attractive!" And with that the tiger eats Sebastian's head! The crowd is screaming in terror and horror.
"Betty, let him go!" Beast says taking out her whip.
"She hasn't done anything wrong." Claims Sebastian taking his head out of Betty's mouth while catching the whip. "I was so overcome by her charm that I behaved rudely, that's all. And, indiscriminate whipping isn't enough to train her properly." And with that Betty once again try's to eat Sebastian.
"Betty! Spit him out this instant! He's dirty!"
"Goodness, aren't you a tomboy, my dear?" The crowd goes crazy, while a certain Neko is still giggling watching the scene, suspecting more to the red eyed male then meets the eye.
