'His dress makes him either wealthy or a nobleman.' Ciel thinks about the man in the photo. 'Given that he's in photographs with workhouse children, he could be a philanthropist...' Inside of Jokers tent there are spar hands hanging on the wall and underneath his pillow there is a piece of paper. 'A letter? It's from, "Tom, the piper's son"... The mother goose character?' He opens the letter. 'WHY?! This... is my name.' On the paper is information all about Ciel Phantomhive.
The Noah's Ark Circus is closed for the day. People start leaving.
"Good work, all!" Joker tells everyone. "Hmm? Where'd Black get to?" He asks Suit and Dagger.
"He ran off right after the encore. Maybe he needed to piss." Dagger tells him.
"Ha, could be! Might've ev-" Joker was cut off by Kitty-
"Knock it off you two! Don't joke around about peeing! You're setting a bad example for all the kids here!" She scolds the two.
"Yes, Miss Kitty." Dagger says quickly.
"Alright, Kitty~" 'She looks so pretty ...even when she is mad..' Joker says/thinks.
Sebastian is untying the snakes. Then he walks out of the tent.
'What is my name doing here? Are they on to us?! Oh hell, the first-stringers are back.' He quickly puts everything back and leaves. He hides by a box but they are by the exit. 'I should've stopped sooner. I have to get back without being seen...' As he tries to move a snake appears right in front of him. The Doll appears above him, holding a light.
"Oi. What are you doing there?" Ciel is still scared of the snake though... She sees that, "Don't move." Doll flips over the box, covering Ciel's mouth and grabbing the snake.
"Oi, Doll! What are you waiting for? Get changed, and we'll go eat-" Dagger walks up to her.
"This snake was loose. We've told him not to let them outside." She holds up the snake towards the freaked out Dagger. Ciel is still hiding behind the box. Kitty and Snake are walking towards them.
"Snake! Put it in your tent!" Dagger is scared~
"Aww, why are you so scared Dagger? This snake is so cute~!" Kitty grabs the snake and hugs it.
"Please, keep 'em shut up!" Dagger ignores Kitty for the moment. "See you later." He waves to Doll and leaves with Snake and Kitty. Doll grabs Ciel by the arm,"This way."
The two are crawling toward an area, where no one is,"Hurry." They get up and run behind a tent, "Right, we should be clear now."
"Why did you help me?" Smil turn toward her.
"You still don't get it? It's me." Doll takes off the hat/wig to reveal Freckles.
"Freckles?!" He points at her.
"Hey, that's not a very nice name to call me!"
"You're a bloke who wears dresses onstage?"
"You're very rude! I'm a genuine maid, I'll have you know!" She walk to him, grabs ciel's hand and puts it on her boob. "See?" Ciel is red. "Want to check down below while you're at it?" She jokes.
"No thank you!!!" Smile jumps away. Doll gets serious for a moment.
"So, what were you doing there? They must have told you it was dangerous."
"Well..." 'I suppose I'll have to pretend to be a thief.' "I'm sorry! But I swear I haven't stolen anything today!" Ciel grabs his head, "I promise! Please don't chase me out!"
"Wait, 'today'?!"
"The truth is, I lived in the East End before I became a page, and I got by however I could! I know I shouldn't steal, but I just can't shake old habits! And my last master found..." He falls to the ground, "If the circus turns me out, I'll have to go back to the east end!" 'I may have laid it on a bit thick.'
"You swear you didn't take anything?"
"Yes! I swear to God!" He jumps up.
"Well, all right."
"Thank you so much!"
"It's fine. I owe you one anyhow. We've all got our secrets, right? So what I did to you earlier was wrong... So I'll keep this quiet. Now we're even. But no more sneaking about!"
"Right. Say, can i ask you... If you're a first-stringer, why are you sharing my tent?"
"Well, I don't like staying by myself. I sleep better when someone's with me. Hey, you'll still room with me even though i'm a first-stringer, won't you?"
"Yes, of course!"
"Oh, good. Right, then what happened here stays between us." She reaches her hand to Smile.
"Right!" He then grabs her hand. 'Words are cheap. There's no guarantee she won't tell anyone. Humans lie without a second thought. Including me, of course.'
