Chapter Four, Roommates

•BEEP•

"Ugh.. what- happened-" Oh right, he remembers ,He tried to kill himself. Looks like he failed that too, how pathetic.

Giyuu only just now realized all the other Hashira asleep in chairs, all spread out around the room. He then noticed Sanemi sleeping on him again. (déjà vu🤕)

He looked like a mess. His hair was horribly messy, he smelled like he hadn't showered in days, he had dried tears staining his cheeks, and his nose was tinted pink.

Giyuu decided to try to pull Sanemi closer, awful idea though. As soon as he moved a wave of intense pain hit him unexpectedly. His entire body hurt really bad.

Sanemi felt the movement and slowly started to stir awake. "Gah..—" He groaned, he'd completely forgotten where he was until he heard a familiar voice.

"Hi..-" Giyuu said awkwardly, and Sanemi started crying again. "Y-you moron! •Sob•
I-I was terrified! I was so heartbroken when I •Sob• found you!"

Giyuu grew concerned for Sanemi, while he also felt tears building up.

Giyuu realized something he could feel himself pale "How long was I out for.?"He asked still concerned for the crying boy infront of him. "A little long than a w-week." Sanemi said shakily. "Master also said that I'm going to move in with you because he doesn't think you can handle being alone. He also decided I would move in because you apparently get along with me the best out of the other Hashira.

Giyuu felt his face flush, "Well yeah, you're the only one who isn't overly excited about everything but you're still kind and you still listen without making a big fuss about it." Giyuu said quickly and relatively quietly.

Sanemi hummed in agreement.

"So when am I getting discharged?.." Sanemi's face darkened. "They said in a week, but I say they should have you in here for at least two weeks."

"Ah, okay." Giyuu said tiredly. Just then Shinobu walked in. "Ara~ Ara~, it seems Tomioka-San has awoken from his deep slumber."

Giyuu gave her a blank stare and rolled over in an attempt to go back to sleep. "Ara~ You could at least thank me for saving your life!"

Giyuu suddenly grew quite angry. "I didn't ask you to! I would've preferred to be dead right now!" By now all the Hashira were awake. (They all assumed it was an accidental overdose, except for Sanemi.)

"I told you I was struggling mentally and not only did you make my mental stability WORSE you brushed me off!! You're a literal doctor, you're supposed to try and help people the best you can!!" Everyone's face grew extremely pale.

"And even if you did all of a sudden 'care' for me, it would be so obvious it's fake it would actually hurt!! I know I seem like an asshole right now, but all you've done to me since I've become a Hashira was bully me relentlessly! Even Sanemi came around and now me and him are actually good friends! You've done nothing for me except make my life more miserable than it already was." Giyuu finally finished, whispering that last sentence.

The Hashiras were extremely shocked now, even Sanemi was in his own little state of shock. Mitsuri was crying by now while everyone else was on the verge of tears. "Get out." Giyuu said shakily. "Wha-" "GET OUT. Everyone except Sanemi get out."

Everyone quickly left including Shinobu, she decided she could deal with questioning him later.

Sanemi was expecting to be yelled at aswell but instead notice the slightly shorter boy crying. "Giyuu..?" Sanemi said quietly, Giyuu looked up. He looked so.. delicate, like if you were to say one wrong thing he would shatter.

"I-I don't know what to do anymore.." He stated sadly.

"Everything's falling apart. I couldn't even keep my emotional barriers up.." He said as he started sobbing even harder.

"W-what am I supposed to do Nemi..?" He asked as he started feeling drowsy. Sanemi frowned at that.

•Thump•

He had fallen asleep. "Yuu.. I'm so sorry you're going through so much right now, i want to help you but I need you to let me.." Sanemi stated before drifting off quietly aswell, both of them failing to notice Sanemi had started crying aswell mostly because of what Giyuu had said.

Anygays, I'm so so so sorry about not posting as often as I said I would, schools just been a bit of a bitch this year.
I'm also sorry if I get the characters personality's wrong! I'm still a bit new to this whole 'fan fiction' thing! Anyways I hope you enjoyed this chapter!
