"You okay?" I ask Aditya, who's standing looking green. He looks like he just run a hundred miles. He's sweaty, pale and icky.
He simply nods his head as he adjusts his tie and straightens his blazer.
"You sure?" I ask as I gently pat his shoulders.
He turns to me, his eyes showing clear signs of worry, "I'm getting married." He mutters and gulps.
I try my best not to burst out laughing, "Yes, to Doniya, the woman you love." I remind him with a smile.
He looks so uncertain, but after he hears Doniya's name, his features calm down a little.
"You love her...and this is what you wanted. A marriage." I say gently and he nods his head slowly.
"You're right." He shakes his head and rubs his face with his hands, "It's just that...it's coming down hard right now that I'm actually tying the knot. And I really hoped my dad to be here. He was like the rock in my life and if he isn't here...it just feels so incomplete." He sighs.
"Yeah, I understand. This must be so difficult for you guys." I say sympathetically.
"I honestly don't know what Aditi is going through?" He looks at me and see the sadness clear in his eyes.
"She's a strong woman. And I'm by her side. So don't worry, brother." I pat his shoulders again and he gives me a weak smile.
"Thanks man. I don't know what would I do without you." He says.
"All good here." We both turn to look at Zayn who walks in. He and I are wearing the same black tuxedos.
"Yeah, Aditya was about to bolt off." I joke and Aditya's body immediately tenses as he looks back and forth from me to Zayn.
"What?!" Zayn takes dominant strides towards Aditya.
"No! I swear...I wasn't going to." Aditya shakes his head, looking panicky.
"You better not." Zayn narrows his eyes at him, "Plus, I think it's about time that we have the talk."
"What?" Aditya says, looking confused.
"Harry would you excuse us?" Zayn says, a bit too seriously, without tearing his eyes away from Aditya.
"Sure." I chuckle and leave the room.
I walk out of the room and close the door behind me.
"Oh, Harry!" I look to my right and see Emma walking towards me from the back entrance of this church. He's dressed in a olive green tulle dress that comes to her knees. She looks pretty.
"Emma! You made it!"
"Of course! I couldn't miss it!" She gushes.
We embrace in a short, friendly hug and pull away.
"It's been so long. How have you been?" I ask.
"Busy, mostly." She rolls her eyes, "But well, thanks." She smiles kindly, "And you Mr. Styles, are all around, every tabloid. Only yesterday, I read that you were getting married." She teases making me chuckle.
"It's super crazy." I shake my head.
"What's with the last minute wedding?" She asks curiously.
"Urgh...it's complicated. We even asked the Father to hurry with the ceremony and skip on some less important parts." I say and Emma nods her her in understanding.
"How's Aditi?" She asks.
"She's fine." I reply nonchalantly.
"Are you guys back together?" She questions.
