This book will be darker, and more mature than Yours, Fred, so please keep that in mind when reading:

Violence, injury detail, murder, implied PTSD, occasional explicit language, torture, threat/danger (aka dark themes typical of the HP universe), sexually mature scenes later on, occasional alcohol use.

On a serious note, this story is not suitable for minors in my opinion as an adult due to the sexually mature scenes, but do what you want and read at your own discretion and don't advertise being a minor reading my adult content or I'll have to remove you.

ANYWAY I'm hoping to update every few days or maybe twice a week...whenever life isn't too busy! :)

I have a few notes about the characters/timeline etc, just because I made a few changes to fit with the story and want to avoid confusing anyone! You don't have to read these but it might help, and I'll update this if I feel there is anything else than needs clarification in the future.

- The general plotline is a mixture of both the movies and the books, so if something happens differently/in a different order than it does in the movies (i.e. Ron becoming the Gryffindor Keeper in OotP rather than in HBP) it's because I've based it on the events of the books!

- In this story, The Marauders attended Hogwarts from 1970-1977, so a year earlier than in canon. This is because Emilia was born in 1978, the same year as the twins, and I didn't want her to be born while her parents were still in school. This means Lily and James were 22 when they died, rather than 21 as in canon.

- To avoid any confusion, Emilia is pronounced Eh-me-lia, kind of like Amelia.

- The twins were born in April 1978 as in canon, and Emilia was born in May 1978, making her two years older than Harry, and three and a half on the night their parents died.

- Emilia and the twins have a larger friend group of the other Gryffindors who are canonically in their year, including Lee, Angelina, Alicia, and Kenneth Towler. I've also created original characters for the group: Beth Wolpert (older sister of Nigel), Henry Chang (cousin of Cho). And finally, Katie Bell is a year older in this story, and in the same year as Emilia and the twins.

- The story won't just focus on Emilia's relationship with Fred, I also wanted to explore her relationships with the others, especially George and Harry, but also with Hermione, Ron and Remus, and the parts they play in her life. But yeah she fancies Fred, don't we all? ;)

- Expect *drama* in this story. This is a slow burn relationship. I wanted to explore the development of Emilia and Fred's friendship and how it changes as they mature - past silly arguments and bickering - before it develops into something more ;) Spoiler alert: they do get together, as implied by it being a Fred fic. In the meantime, there might be other crushes/relationships, all for the sake of angst and drama, because who doesn't love that?
