The following weekend arrived quickly, and Emilia woke up with a smile, pressing her lips to soft skin, and Fred rolled over to pull her close, "morning, beautiful."

She kissed his cheek again, and then his lips, "morning, handsome."

"Who, me?" he teased, and she chuckled and cuddled up to him again.

Later in the morning, Emilia was sitting up with a cup of tea while reading her book, and Fred had his face pressed into his pillow with an arm strewn across her hips under the bottom of her book as he snoozed the morning away.

"I have an idea," Fred said suddenly, his voice muffled by the pillow.

Emilia looked down at him with a smirk, "uh, oh."

"Hear me out, woman," Fred sighed, and he rolled over on his back and stretched his arms over his head.

Emilia put her book and empty mug on her bedside table and lay down next to Fred again, kissing his cheek before resting her head on his chest.

"Alright, do tell. As long as it doesn't involve setting anything on fire."

"Well, there go my weekend plans," Fred answered with a dramatic sigh.

"Fred," Emilia snickered.

"Well, I think we should go to the Burrow for dinner next weekend and tell everyone about us," he said, trying to fight a smile.

Emilia propped herself up on her elbow and looked down at him, "really?"

Fred rested his hand on her waist, stroking his thumb gently over her soft skin under her t-shirt. "Yeah, I think we should start telling people. Other than Georgie, that is. If you want to."

Emilia smiled, "you've finally had enough of keeping me to yourself?"

Gasping dramatically, Fred put a hand on his bare chest, looking affronted, "enough of you? Never."

Then, with a grin, he rolled on top of her and kissed her sweetly before pulling back to look down at her, "I'm here for as long as you'll have me."

She cupped his cheek and beamed lovingly up at him, "well, then, you're gonna be stuck with me for a long, long time."

"Good. I'm counting on it, love" Fred said, and with a mischievous smirk, he kissed her deeply, pulling the bed sheets over them again.

That week back in Hogwarts, while walking between classes with an armful of corrected homework, Emilia spotted Hermione and Harry walking down the corridor, and she pulled them aside, unable to hide her grin.

"I have news," she said, beaming.

"Uh oh," Harry said warily, earning him a glare from his sister, but Hermione just gripped Emilia's free hand with wide eyes.

"Tell us," she pleaded, hoping for the news she'd been waiting for, for longer than she'd admit to her friend.

"So, Fred and I are...well, we're together," Emilia said, her face already beginning to hurt from smiling so widely.

Hermione's hands shot to her face, and she teared up, "oh my god, this is the best news!" Then she hugged Emilia tightly, tight enough that Emilia could've sworn she felt something crack. "I knew it would happen! I knew it!"

Harry grinned at her, "wow, I'm happy for you, Em. Haven't seen you smile like this in a long time."

He pulled her into a hug then, giving her a tight squeeze to show that while he wasn't usually a boy of many words when it came to emotional things, he meant it when he said he was happy for her.
