Emilia found studying to be a great distraction from the whispers that followed her through the castle about her and her ex boyfriend. Angelina glared at anyone who so much as looked at her for too long, and the twins flanked her like bodyguards whenever Roger or his friends were nearby.

Even Remus was tempted to give the Ravenclaw boy detention over whatever he could write him up for, but Emilia quickly talked him out of it.

Roger didn't dare to come near her though, and the next few months flew by as the Fifth-years prepared for their OWLs. Emilia practically lived in the library, and even managed to convince the twins to study with her on occasion, since it was the only time they'd see her outside of meal times, though

The exams came and went, and even Emilia was happy to be done with studying for the summer, and the twins were eager to stir up a riot in the corridors with their supply of dungbombs, as a parting gift for Filch before the summer break.

"I still wish you'd let me beat him up," Fred grumbled as the three of them collapsed onto the couch in the common room after their final exam, having seen Roger in the corridor as they left the hall.

"I wish I'd been there to help beat him up," George seconded.

Emilia sighed loudly, "are you two still going on about Roger Davies? Honestly, it's been four months, I'm the one who was mugged off and I'm over it. No one is beating anyone up, guys."

"Shame," George sighed sadly.

Fred straightened up on the couch and looked down at her meaningfully, "you let him off way too easy, Emilia."

She threw her hands up in frustration, "what was I supposed to do? Actually hex him instead of just threatening to?"

"Yes," the twins said in unison.

Emilia rolled her eyes, "let's just enjoy our summer, I don't want to waste another breath on that prick."

"Fair enough," George said, pulling a bag of sweets from his pocket and shoving a handful into his mouth before leaning back on the couch and making himself comfortable.

"It's his loss anyway," Fred said quietly and Emilia gave him a grateful smile and leaned her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes.

Fred leaned his cheek against the top of her head, and the next thing she knew, they were jumping in fright as George let out a sudden snore, breaking the sleepy silence of the common room.

She sat up and looked at Fred, and they both broke into loud laughter which woke George up. Fred clapped him hard on the back making George wince and slap his brother over the back of the head, and Emilia laughed again and stood up.

"Right, I'm going to look for Harry, he told me they were going to Hagrid's around this time," she said.

"They're really going to execute the Hippogriff?" George asked and Emilia nodded sadly.

"Bastards," Fred muttered.

While the twins went up to their dormitory to relax, Emilia hurried to her own dorm to change out of her uniform and into her normal clothes before walking down through the castle from Gryffindor Tower.

She made her way down to the castle grounds and she was just walking outside when Draco Malfoy and his friends ran past her, Malfoy whimpering dramatically.

She saw Harry, Ron and Hermione standing at the top of the hill and she walked down to them, "what the hell happened to Malfoy?"

They turned around and Harry grinned at her, "Hermione punched him in the face."
