Marinette and cat got tired of running so they both stopped, Marinette was huffing and puffing trying to catch her breath, and so was cat.

"I'm s-sorry this h-happened", cat said breathing in between breaths. Marinette said back, "it's ok", she was so out of breath that she felt like falling out.

Both of them was so out of breath, until cat finally regain his normal breathing and asked in a confused tone, "why did my father call you a wich?", He asked confused.

Marinette chocked on her air and got up to face him, she looked down at the ground she couldn't face him for some reason, she responder with, "ummm I-i don't k-know", she stammered.

Cat could tell she was lying so he said, "your lying", Marinette gasped and she said still not looking at him, "I'm not I don't know", cat stared hard at her trying to register what's actually going on.

"Then why can't you look at me?", He asked in a "as a matter of fact" tone, Marinette stilled didn't look at him. He lifted her chin up to his face but her eyes were still glued to the ground.

"Look at me please", he pleaded. She heard the plea in his voice but still didn't look at him. Cat pleaded one more time, "please Mary look at me please", he said with tears streaming down his face.

Marinette finally looked up at him and her eyes started to water as well. Cat sniffed and she answered him by saying, "I'm s-sorry I didn't mean for this to happen, and I can't explain this to you because you'll hate me", she said while tears was streaming down her eyes.

Cat started to cry while saying, "please just tell me I need to know why he called you a wich, I won't hate y-you I just need to know", he said with desperation, sadness and hunger in his eyes.

Marinette looked at him hurt very hurt and she finally said, "fine I'll tell you", she said while sitting on a bench near them both. He sat next to her and she began.
