So they were still in this hug, when Emily broke the hug. She touched Marinette's cheeks and whispered, "I'm sorry my love", Marinette and said in tears, "no it's not your fault ok nothing is your fault", she rubbed Emily's back assuring her.
Marinette looked at cat whose face was filled with hurt and shock. He couldn't believe how his father had acted towards Marinette and his mother he hated him for that.
Now he was gonna make sure Marinette's name is cleared at all cost. He touched Marinette's hand and said in a tender tone, "I'm going to help you clear your name no matter what happens your name is gonna be cleared, even if I have to do it alone", Marinette smiled softly and hugged.
Emily smiled seeing them reunite, it reminded her of Gabriel and her back in the old days.
But she frowned once she remembers how he is now.
"I'll leave you two alone ok?", Call me if you both need anything", Emily said softly. She got up and walked out of the room.
Marinette looked at cat noir, "wow I am so sorry for the way my father treated you", he said with sorrowful eyes.
Marinette smiled, "it's ok I'm used to it", she said reassuring him. He hugged her tightly.
Marinette smiled and embraced him. Cat broke the hug slowly and looked into Marinette's eyes, he touched her cheek and rubbed her shoulder softly.
He kissed her slowly but passionately. She kissed back with much more passion.
Cat broke the kiss. Their foreheads were against eachother and the both of them smiled.
He lifted her chin and kissed her forehead softly while she still smiled.
"Marinette I love you", he said with love and care in his voice. She smiled shyly and said, "I love you to cat", he smiled.
