Cat has been suspicious of Marinette and Emily all week because they always whispered about something, he couldn't quite hear what it was they were whispering about but it was super suspicious.

"Mom, mom!", Cat shouted from the bedroom, but he got no response from Emily.

He got out of his bed and walked to the kitchen and saw Emily and Marinette whispering about something.

*Ugh here they go again* cat thought to himself annoyed. He came into the kitchen and shouted, "what's going on I'm gonna give both of a few seconds to tell me what you two have been whispering about!!", He shouted in anger.

Cat was fed up and he wanted to know exactly why he couldn't hear what they were whispering about.

Marinette and Emily froze and looked at eachother with worry. "Oh come on spit it out what is it that you two have been hiding from me!?", Cat shouted in frustration.

Marinette nor Emily could say a word. "Oh ok that's how it is.......fine", cat said the last word and then walked away.

"Cat noir wait!!", Marinette shouted for him to stop and he did stop but he didn't turn around.

Marinette ran to him and turned him around. His head was tilted down so she raised his head up and she looked him in the eye.

"Cat i-i'm I'm not sure how to say this but", she stopped when cat removed her hand from his face.

He looked at her and she looked at him with sorrow. He turned around and started to walk away. She ran after him and grabbed his right hand and she said with tears in her eyes, "cat I can't tell you because I don't know what your reaction would be and I don't want you to be sad or mad at me ok?, So it's not that me and Emily don't trust you it's that we don't want this secret to hurt you", cat turned around with tears in is eyes.

Marinette gasped. "What is the secret?", He asked. Mary looked down obviously saying she can't tell him. He took that as her saying she doesn't trust him, so he walked away from her.

Marinette started to cry and Emily came to comfort her.

Cat went to take out the garbage. He put the garbage in the garbage can and was about to walk back inside but he heard a voice.

"Psst hey cat come here", the voice said. Cat was confused he followed the voice and found his dad behind a garbage can.

He was shocked when he saw him. "Dad?! What are you doing here?!", Cat shouted.

"Ssh keep your voice down pls", Gabriel whispered. Cat sucked his teeth and he started to walk back to the hotel.

"See I told you", gabriel said and it made cat stop in his tracks.

"I told you they were hiding something from you", Gabriel said steeping out from his hiding spot.

(Flashback) cat was outside and he wondered what they were talking about.

Cat felt something hit his foot and he looked down to see a paper. He picked it up and it read, "they are hiding something from you", cat was confused. So he just shrugged and threw the paper on the ground.

(End of flashback) "it was you who sent me that note", cat said in a shocked tone of voice.

"Well no duhhh", Gabriel said walking towards him. "But h-how d-did you know?", Cat stuttered.

"I never reveal my secrets", Gabriel said walking around him. "You can come work for me, and they obviously don't trust you that's why they didn't tell you their secret", Gabriel said while touching cat's shoulder.

Cat looked down in dispear, "but Marinette loves me, doesn't she?", Cat asked Gabriel in a hopeful tone.

"Yeah but if she really loved you she was gonna tell you the truth, lovers are supposed to tell eachother everything right? Am I right or am I  right?", Gabriel asked in a "matter of fact" tone.

Cat frowned, "your right", cat said looking down at the ground.

"So? Are you with me?", Gabriel asked in a evil tone.

"Yes", cat said agreeing. Gabriel started to laugh like a maniac. He told cat to follow him and he did.
