Working with Yoongi was supposed to be easy but fate found a way to make it just a little complicated for Jungkook.

One of their company executives trash-talked about Jungkook after a drunken night with a stranger. He thought he was rambling to an escort but the person turned out to be the new CEO.

Who could assume that even the CEO could be that good looking? But to be fair, the recovering alcoholic should have at least tried not to spill vital company information mixed with terrible lies to someone he thought was "just an escort".

A day before Yoongi arrived in LA was the day Jungkook was being suddenly relocated to New York! They said it was necessary, something about the New York studio suiting their project.

"But Yoongi hyung is on his way! We are supposed to start working on the new collaboration." Jungkook protested in vein as his manager ushered him into the car with his essential.

"He will meet you in New York! We will get everything done. You know this is how things work around here! You chose to come work with us. Now you will just have to adjust!" his manager had said with a frown in his face.

The man was not that horrible. He truly felt bad for Jungkook who was being uprooted from a place he was staying to call home. But that's the job they had all signed up for and everything is just so temporary in their line of work.

"You're lucky the new CEO likes you!" is the last thing his LA manager said to him before he boarded his flight to New York. Jungkook thought it was rude but the man was just trying to make sure that the sweet doe-eyed boy does not miss their LA team. It is always so much easier to forget people who leave you emotionally bruised.

The truth is, their new CEO needed to keep Jungkook away from the media storm that was about to begin. Their company firing the executive who had been famously against letting Jungkook relocate to the states was not going to go down easily. If the drunken man was hard to control on company soil, think about the mayhem he can create after being booted out.

Yoongi had arrived on time as promised but Jungkook was nowhere to be found. Not knowing the truth much like everyone else, he thought it was all b*llsh*t and wanted to catch the next flight home. But Jungkook convinced him to waste another day traveling and joining him in New York!

Yoongi does not like to travel and he certainly does not like you take one too many flights. This is especially true when he can be spending that time in a studio working on something he enjoys creating.

But he endures because he knows this project means a lot to Jungkook. And frankly, he doesn't mind spending time with the boy either. He knows even one wasted day will lead to Jungkook working harder than anyone else. Watching Jungkook put his heart and soul into his work always makes Yoongi beam with pride.

Time truly flies when your enjoy working with someone. It seems like yesterday that Yoongi arrived in US and it's already time for him to leave.

"Hyung! Please come to my place at least one. See how I've turned it into my home. You'll really like my home studio. I'm working on things in my free time, just like you taught me." Jungkook tosses one enticing temptation after another and Yoongi eventually caves.

"Fine!" a grumpy and tired Yoongi responds while grabbing his coat and walking toward the studio exit.

"But I'm not staying over. I have a flight tomorrow and they will pick me up from my hotel. And I need some sleep before I head over to Vegas."

"Vegas?" Jungkook enquires and Yoongi replies "Your precious Namjoon hyung wanted me to meet someone there.".

Jungkook frowns just a little prompting Yoongi to add "Something related to the company. Nothing personal!".
