CHAPTER 2

"Right, so what do we do now?" Sebastian asks his daughter as they were currently chilling in the living room watching Encanto for the 10th time.

It was the next day and Elia and Seb are having their daddy-daughter day right now since Mama just went to the wedding venue to set things up with the Event Organizer with Aunty MK, Aunty Ash, Aunty C, Grammie and Mama Scarly.

"We can't go to the pool because Mama ground us from going there without her supervision for a month, remember?"

Mama banned them both because of their little backflip action that makes her scared the living shit out of her.

She's overprotective over her one and only daughter. So yeah. That's that

"Ooh, you wanna bake cookies with me?" Seb asks excitedly as Elia's face immediately lit up at the suggestion

"Of course!"

Daddy's cookies are always the best. It was the soft gooey and chewy type. Not the hard one. That's definitely Elia's favorite. Especially white chocolate with macadamia!

Sebastian after having a daughter, he learned everything his girls loved. Especially in cooking. He just wants to help Lizzie sometimes and as time passes by, it becomes a normal occurrence for the Olsen- Stan family to help each other in the kitchen preparing meals.

It's their way to spend time together, bonding.

Both dad and daughter make their way to the kitchen and check out the ingredients to make white chocolate macadamia cookies to make sure it has enough and they don't have to go to the store.

Those two get into work on preparing the ingredients in silence coated the air comfortably.

It make Elia started to think,

How far has she come throughout this year.

Everything that had happened to her in the past came plaguing her minds but not in a bad way. It's just that she's comparing herself back then and now.

She's much lighter now with happiness.

Having Daddy- daughter day with her father, baking cookies while her Mama is getting things settled for their wedding soon.

Her parents are getting married in a few days and she's going to be at the wedding.

She is also the witness and the culprit of her parents' relationship.

They really are destined to be with each other. The three of them.

Everything in her life now is new to her but she was so thankful that there's also familiarity in it. Like Isa and his family. They grow closer together. Aunt Adrea having a blast telling Mama all of Elia's pre-teen stories with Isa.

Elia is not what she is right now back then. She was a very closed kid. But when she's with Isa and his family, she can bring out the real version of her but still guarded herself too.

But ever since Elia met with Mama and got to know Mama and her dysfunctional family, they managed to bring out the very best version of her that even she didn't know she had in herself.

She didn't know she's sassy, she didn't know she's clingy and she most certainly didn't know that her love language is physical contact

Everything's change 360 degrees when Mama and others came into her life.

Change for the better.

Even though she is not the easiest person they've handled because of what's happened to her last years.
