"Knock knock, cutie" Lizzie said, making her presence known to her daughter as she was leaning her shoulder on Elia's doorway in their house
"Hi Mama" Elia said with a soft laughter as she closed her book she's reading and invited her Mama in the room, giving Lizzie her full attention as she always did, which always gets Lizzie to melt over how sweet and well mannered her daughter is.
"What are you reading there?"
"Love notes from my boyfriend" Elia said cheekily and jokingly clearly as she knows the topic sometimes bothered her parents especially Daddy. "Little Women"
"You love reading that book don't you?" Lizzie replied in amusement as she had heard her daughter reading the same book over and over again these past few months
"I'm attached. To be finding a new book that can top this book, it's difficult Mama. The expectation this book put for the next any books I read is outstanding" Elia explained to which Lizzie only laughed and nodded her head in understanding
"We'll have to go book shopping later then huh?"
"Oh definitely! Though I think for the next few weeks, I'll be more on reading scripts rather than reading my books, Mama" Elia said giggling
"You're not gonna be working all day long the whole several weeks, silly" Lizzie exclaimed with a chuckle in amusement "So how are you liking the work? Is it good?"
"It's good. I'm adapting to it. It is exhausting but come to think of it rationally, no work isn't exhausting. We just find a way to enjoy the exhaustion. And also, I work with our family, that's fun. I love it. Now I know what's it like to be acting like you" Elia said as she put her head on Lizzie's shoulder comfortably and instantly cuddling up to her mama as they laid on the bed together
"Well the job is fun when you're working with someone you love and rather spending your time with, indeed. I am glad you have fun. Know that it is not something you should feel obliged to do if you don't want to do it anymore, alright?" Lizzie reminded her daughter, because as much as she loved to be working with her daughter, she didn't want Elia to feel like she had to do it for them. No, they have relentlessly worked to make sure Elia did it to please everyone but her, can't have the same history repeating itself.
Elia nodded her head, taking in the words and advice from her mama.
"So, how's life with a husband now?" Elia asked with a grin, as if she didn't witness the lovebirds phase they're in. But she has doubts that it's a phase, per say. She knows their lovey dovey towards each other is what she is gonna be seeing for the rest of her life, because they are completely cute and smitten with each other. She loves to see their tender soft love, it makes her heart sing and upon that, that makes her realize that she wins so much in life already by having Lizzie and Seb in her life.
"Life with a husband and a daughter we can love is amazing" Lizzie replied in a soft whisper and a loving smile
"Mama, we were talking about you having a husband. How have you managed to get a daughter topic in the equation?" Elia asked with a laughter in amusement
"Oh my sweet girl, Daddy and I will find a way to always bring our daughter up in the equation that was being talked about or said! We will never not find a wayy!" Lizzie said, chuckling with a grin as it is true. The parents always managed to get Elia's name somehow in the conversation, interviews or anything. One other word, gloating. They will gloat to the rest of the world about Eliana. Any possible chance that they get and no matter how many times that it already happened, Elia always ends up blushing, getting as red as a tomato.
