Episode 7

Star city, 19 August – 19:00

'We won't becoming today, me and Bruce' a text came in my phone, it was Sunday. I was laying in the living room while Zoe, my sister, was watching cartoons with Victor as Helena was on her phone.

"Who is it honey?" Helena asked, it was not interrogation, it was interest. That's something most teenagers my age cannot understand or at least that's what most mothers intend to do. I mean it is not bad for a mom to know her kids friends.

"Boy wonder at the groupchat" I spoke without thinking much

A giggled sounded at the living room and my eyes went wide "Who of the boys you would call after Robin... Like seriously... Robin is pretty Wally and Roy is ginger and Dick looks small" Zoe said and before she would finish her sentence my heart skipped a beat. I exchanges stares with Helena and Victor who signed me to ease.

"Well... Dick was an acrobat Zoe, what he does is wonderful" I played along 'Why, is everything alright' I texted at the groupchat.

"Wonderful huh? Amanda is in love" Zoe joked.

"Yea sure and I was wondering what was the itch I felt" I rolled my eyes.

'I don't know' Robin texted

'*cant tell cause the Bat said so' Wally replied.

'Maybe ^.^' Dick texted

'What are we going to do then?' I wondered, batman was responsible for our missions so I wasn't sure if he had the time to leave a mission for us.

'We will go there as we always do and see' Kaldur suggested.

'Mandy, I have a job for us, you know something less boring ;)' Roy appeared, he didn't know about Chris.

'Like what' I asked Roy even though I knew what it was about.

'Just in memory of the old days' he added.

'Alright, I will see if I am needed and then I will text you.'

'Alright league's pet' Roy poked me.

'Don't do that Roy, she wont be talking to you.' Wally texted

'Sure, out of all the gingers here, I am the one who misunderstands' I texted.

'Woooh, point to campfire' Dick appeared and disappeared again 'Now I have to go for real'

'Be careful' Wally texted.

'Good luck' Kaldur said, I could hear his sigh, mentally.

'And text us when you return' I thought I'd remind him although this was some sort of inside rule we had.

'And we are stand by if you need anyhting' Roy texted last and left the group chat in a silenced atmosphere. It was this blank feeling, the moment someone was leaving on a mission and the rest were staying behind. I took a deep breath when another message came.

'So Mandy, what will you do?' Roy asked me.

'Not sure, I will go to the cave and let you know' I unpuzzled him. I didn't want to leave Kaldur and Wally alone with the three potential moles.

'Okay little one' Roy texted, I smiled slightly. I liked it when he would call me that but only him.

'Don't even think about it Wally;' I texted not commenting Roy's word on purpose, the moment I saw him type.

Roy was the only one I would let call me that, we grew up together and he was almost three years older than me. He is literally my older brother, not just my friend. Wally and I are the same age, he is older only a few months while Kaldur was a year older. Dick is the youngest of us, almost two years younger but he certainly didn't act like it... Most of the times I mean.
