Draco Wake Up Pt.2

Draco POV.

    Like every other day now, I wake up with a pressure weighing me down that I don't even want to get out of bed. Reason I get up everyday is because the hope that soon this would be all over and I can have the life I wanted with Hera.
     "I'll be at Hogsmeade. That's where she goes mostly." I tell Hera

     "Be careful." She says giving me a hug and a kiss before I go.

    The whole way to Hogsmeade there was an empty pit in my stomach like it was ready drop.
    I walked around until I saw her walk into the three broomsticks. I walk in noticing Potter and his friends there with Hera.
     I thought she was staying at the school.
     I followed the girl to the back where the bathrooms are and I waited for her to come out.

     "Draco, what are you doing here?" She says coming out seeing me.

      "Nothing much, but while you're here can you do something for me." I say
       "Sure." She says confused

       "Can you give this to Dumbledore for me. It's a gift." I say handing it to her

        "What is it?" She says trying to open it and I stopped her.

         "No Peeking. It's a surprise. I wouldn't want you to ruin it." I say trying to stop her from actually touching it.

         "Okay, your secret is safe with me. I'm actually heading back now, so I'll take it to his office." She says

        "Thank you." I say as I watch her leave and sit back with her friend.

       After that I went outside to sit and clear my mind. I watched the lake from a far and just wondering if all our problems would just float away in the water. But what's the chances of that happening.

     After a while Hera joined me.

"Beautiful isn't it?" She says sitting next to me.

        "Not as beautiful as you." I say with a smile and it soon fades.

        "If it makes you feel better Dumbledore already knows he's out to get him." She says

         "It's not better because I'm potentially helping him. Something is going on happen to him and now we can't stop it. Hogwarts is doomed without him." I say

        "Says the boy that said he's the worst thing that's ever happened to Hogwarts." She says and we start laughing.

        "I was different then."

         "All of us were."

       Suddenly all we hear is a girl screaming. We turn to see a girl lifting in the air in the distance and falls. Instantly my stomach dropped and I feared the worst.
      
         "She touched it" Hera whispers

     Soon after we went back to Hogwarts to see the damage I caused.

          We sneaked to the hospital ward to hear Madam Pomfrey talking.

          "Poor thing. Poor girl gotten herself cursed. Maybe won't be the same again."

        All I could think is that I did this. What a monster I am.

    
"It's not your fault. She'll be fine." Hera says as like she could read my mind.

          "But it is. And Hera it won't be okay. I'm becoming the thing I feared I would. The exact person you once feared." I say seeing the pain spread across her face.

           "You are not your father. Do you hear me? You're nothing like that cruel, heartless, cold man." She says with tears threatening to leave her eyes

           "But I am." I say walking away

           "But you're not!" She says yelling after me causing  me pause, "You have a heart. You love. You care. And that's that hurt your feeling. Draco, your nothing like your father."

       I simply turn looks at her and continues walking.

       As I was walking depressing thoughts filled my head as I made my way to the great hall.

     "Look at what you've become"

                  "Just like your father"

  "They'll be better without you. You're just going to give them up because you can't stomach it."

                "It all started because this mark. Get it off."

       As I step in the Great Hall. I felt like everyone knew what I did. Like they're all watching me. I turned and Potter is staring at me like he knows. I run out of the Hall and into the nearest bathroom.

     Staring at myself in the mirror the thoughts were just racing. It was till the point I started to hate myself. Then I just thought if I could get this mark off then it'll be over. So that's what I was going to do before I was interrupted.

       "Malfoy, you did this!" Potter says as spells starts to fly my way.

      I instantly went to hide.

     "Come out Malfoy. Come out and face me. I know what you did to her." Potter says walking closer.A part of me felt like I deserve this. I did hurt her.

     I tried to hit with a spell but he deflected them. Until I took the risk to face him and tried to do a spell but he was faster....

      Suddenly I was on the floor as time started to slip away.

       "What have you done?!"

       "Draco! Draco Wake up!!!"
