Hera POV.

Today We're off to the national zoo. I absolutely love animals and wild life. The only thing I never understood is why keep so many at the zoo behind glass. I know that some came here because they wouldn't survive in the wild alone, but I wonder why keep the rest you know.

But anyways, I picked out one of my favorite outfits for today. A nice black tie shirt, dark jeans, black boots and all silver jewelry. On the other hand, Hermione is wearing all bright colors.
I don't know, even though we're twins she's like the opposite of me. Even though we're total opposites, we're best friends.

"Mom, you have to tell me when the mail comes in, please." Hermione says as we walk down the steps.

Hermione has been checking the mail all this week. I haven't asked about it but she's been on her toes about whatever is supposed to be coming.

"Sure thing, but let's get on the road before the zoo gets crowded. Shall we." Mom said as she grabbed her purse.

"Yeah we should hurry, I heard they redid their reptile exhibit." Dad says.

"Cool. We have to go there first." I said.

"Definitely!" Dad added.

Of course like always we get side tracked when we get there. We took a little detour to the wild felines. They're just gorgeous.
"Mom, look the cubs are playing." Hermione says.

"Aww, so cute." Mom says.

The lions were to the left side and the tigers was on right side of this park. They're exhibits are better than I thought they would be. They have a bunch of space to run.

"How about we go see the tigers on the other side." Dad says and starts walking

I nodded and follow.

The tigers are amazing. And I bet I already said it but I love cats. Like all types of cats. I'm just an animal person.
I looked at the female tiger and she gets up and comes up to the glass where Hermione and I are.
"Hera, she's looking at you." Hermione says a little weirded out.

"Hi." I said to the tiger. And she nodded.

"She understands you." Hermione adds.

I put my hand on the glass in front of me. And the tiger did the same. It was like we connected but how I don't know.

Turn around to mom gasping at the sight of the tiger so close to the glass.

"Mom, it's okay. She just wanted to say hi." I said trying to calm mom.

I looked back at the tiger and she was slowly backing up.

"Oh no it's okay. My mom does like cats as much we do." I said turning to Hermione as well.
"I bet you get scared at times, when people come to see you", asked her and she nodded.

"I see Fiona found a friend." I hear behind me. I turn to see a zookeeper, she seemed happy that I was talking to Fiona.

"So her name is Fiona." I said looking back at her, "She's beautiful." I tell the zookeeper.

"Yeah, she is.", She says walking up to the glass, "I've never seen her walk up and talk to someone before. She mainly stays to herself." The zookeeper explained.

"Well Fiona, when ever I come I'll come visit you." I said. She looked as if she was smiling.

"Your daughter has real gift. She just made Fiona's day." The zookeeper says to Mom and Dad.
