The Dark Twin Rises

Hera POV.

The amount of secrecy in my visitor, Bellatrix says I'm to meet. I had an idea who it could be. I didn't know for sure until I was standing in front of him. Wave of fear consumed me for a minute until I could regain myself.

"Voldemort." I say ," or should I say Lord Voldemort."

"Yes. You seemed startled to see me. Not who you expected?" He asks

"I didn't think I would get to to see you personally. It's an honor." I say

And telling the truth he was nothing I expected. I was expecting a man but he looks almost far from a man. No nose, pale thin skin, eyes looked snake like.

Suddenly I saw his snake slither from behind him.

"She's beautiful." I said and that was probably the only truthful thing I say to this man.

" Her name is Nagini. An interesting one, I can say." He says watching my reaction as she moved around the room.
"You don't seem scared, child." He says

"May I ask? Of you or her?" I ask

"Either. Why?" He says getting curious

I'm curious myself how I kept it together. I wasn't scared of her but him. He looks a little werid.

"First off she's no threat, until you say. I can sense she's not a threat and creatures are interesting. Secondly, respectfully I'm simply not scared of you." I say confident

I can tell Bellatrix gotten a bit uneasy about my answer.

"Brave little child. Why are you here? To join me? Or for little boyfriend?" He says starting to circle around me.

"Actually neither." I say and he stops in front of me

"Explain, child." He says

"Word gotten out that I'm the dark twin. My sister abandons me, while everyone has something to say. I just wanted to give Potter and his friends what's coming for them. And you, Lord Voldemort has already set that track in motion. I heard it wouldn't hurt to have me by your side along the way." I explain

For a moment I was going to show my true fear and cry because of the long pause between. I had no idea what he was thinking.

"You remind me of bit of me when I was younger. Ready to spread chaos. Ones I thought I could trust, I couldn't trust at all. And no fear of no one. It's interesting." He says

"You talk more like you want an alliance. And I understand, at the end of the day you stand alone. Truly the dark twin or not you've got fire and I love to make guide you to your best potential. You'll stay with Bellatrix and she'll look after you." He says

"My lord, so she's to stay in my care?" Bella asks

"You have seem to take a liking to her so why not." He says turning to me," And I'll be waiting to see more from you Hera."

After that him and his snake apparated, leaving me with Bellatrix in the room. We sat there in silence for a minute, until I broke out laughing and my laughing turned to crying.

"Dear, let's get washed up for breakfast shall we" Bella says trying to get my attention

"Yes, we should." I say following her back to her room.

Bellatrix fixed my makeup and we went down to breakfast. No one really talked and I didn't feel like talking. Draco could tell something was wrong but did say anything. I guess he knows not to speak about it here.

Of course the adults went our schedule and what's to come. And how school is to start soon. I just nodded and went out the day.

The whole day I was just grateful, I could still be here sitting next to Draco. I don't know if I really knew what I got us into until today.

"Babe." Draco says trying to get my attention.

"Huh." I say brushing my hair in the mirror. I was mainly looking at myself. Wondering even how I got this far.

"Hera, look at me. Please." He says sitting on the bed.

I just sat down the brush and turned to him.

"What happened today?" He asks

"What do you mean?" I say trying to hide it.

"You were gone this morning, when I got up. And the whole day you haven't been yourself. Hera you can tell me. I know my mother is trying to protect me from the truth but I need us to still stay honest." He explains

He's right. We promised to stay honest.

"I spoke to him today." I say hoping he gets what I mean

"Him?" He says trying to understand

"The He who not be named. He wanted to meet me. Want to know if I was worth the time." I simply say

"Are you scared?" He says

"I'm always scared, Draco." I say starting to cry

"Come here." He says

I get up to sit with him and he pulls me in to hold me. We sat there for some time then layed down almost falling asleep.

Before I closed my eyes he said ," I'm scared too. I love you, Hera and no harm is to come to you while I'm here."

"I love you."

Falling sound asleep in his arms.
