Izuku sat in bed counting out all the money he made stripping last night, the day before, the day of Aoyama's final dance, and everything he got from the appointments he had these last few days. He took a few bands and reached under his side of the bed grabbing his safe.
He unlocked it and stuffed the money inside, having to make room, before locking it and putting it back. After counting out all the rest he put on a pair of glasses and grabbed his journal as well as a pen.
He began writing out how much he earned, who all gave him money, who threw out the most money, and if they looked like they needed to be watched. After that, he bundled all the money up and then got up with a stretch and put it into another bag.
He left the room with the bag and journal then walked down the hall to Kenji's office room and handed him the bag. Kenji sat down the folder he was looking through and took the bag from Izuku opening it.
"This is everything I made while you were away, I took a third and put it in my safe," Izuku told him as he gave him the journal.
"Did anything of interest happen at the Peach?" Kenji asked as he read through the new journal entry.
"The club owner was there the night of my last collab with Yuu, I spotted someone in the crowd who might be him. I'm not a hundred percent sure yet, I wanted to get proof but the man wasn't there the following nights," Izuku informed.
Kenji looked up at him, "Why didn't you tell me about this sooner?"
"I tried but I wasn't able to reach you and I felt this was something I couldn't have relayed to you by anyone other than me. You know I don't trust those people you insist on keeping close," Izuku crossed his arms.
"What did I tell you about disrespecting them, honey? They're your partners now whether you acknowledge them or not," Kenji sighed.
"Yet I'm the only one you actually trust, I should be above them," Izuku scoffed walking away.
"Honey we've talked about this," Kenji said loud enough for him to hear.
Izuku sucked his teeth and rolled his eyes then went into their closet and grabbed some simple clothes then headed to the bathroom. He freshened up and got dressed, fixing up his hair as best he could.
He then went back into his room and grabbed his clutch putting his wallet, charger, and other little necessities in it. He then grabbed a jacket since it was chilly today and headed to the entryway and slipped on his shoes.
"Honey where are you going?" Kenji asked now leaning against his office doorway.
"Out," Izuku responds grabbing his keys.
"Out?" Kenji raises a brow.
Izuku turns to him, "The other night I found a kid that was living behind club Peach. He's probably homeless or a runaway so I put him up in a motel. You know how the people are around there so I was worried about leaving him out there. I'm just going to check on him and make sure he has food,"
"A motel huh?" Kenji continued to eye him.
"Don't worry I won't let it interfere with our work or occupy all my time," Izuku assured.
"Which motel is it?" Kenji asked.
"The Haven Motel,"
Kenji grabbed his coat from the rack beside the door and walked over as he slipped it on. Izuku looked confused as Kenji took the keys from him and walked to the door putting on his shoes.
"What are you doing?" Izuku asked.
"I'm meeting with a potential partner at the Sea block, the Haven motel is on the way so I'll drop you off. I don't know how long I'll be handling my business so you may have to stay overnight," Kenji told him.
