C5 | Unstoppable Disaster

~Third Person POV~

Giyuu and Sabito were on a mission together, fighting a nest of demons inside some village out North.

There were 3 of 4 of them, none of which are Kizuki but the one who lead them all had a Blood Demon Art.

It had been a few months since their first visit to the Butterfly Mansion, and they have both become stronger. Sabito learnt Total Concentration Breathing Constant and the two trained together a lot to further Master their breathing styles.

Due to the two having improved over the months, they were able to successfully eliminate all the demons in the nest, with only a few cuts and scratches on the two.

"Let's stay in an inn!" Sabito suggested, tired out from the mission. Giyuu agreed and the two searched for an inn, eventually finding one and getting a room together with two separate futons.

"..You can take the bathroom first.." Giyuu said. Sabito wanted to object but was too tired to argue, so he went into the bathroom.

'I have a strange feeling for some reason.. something is terribly wrong..' Giyuu thought to himself, while waiting for Sabito to get out of the bathroom.

Once Sabito got out, Giyuu went in and took a small shower to clear the blood off of him. When he finished, he put on the kimono that was given to them and went out to speak with Sabito.

"..I just have this sinking feeling in my gut.. I don't know what it is.." Giyuu said, sitting down on his futon, placed next to Sabito's.

"I wonder why that is. I wouldn't worry about it so much.. Let's go to sleep, we are both tired." Sabito suggested. Giyuu nodded and laid down, Sabito doing the same after killing the lights..

'I wonder why I feel this way..' Giyuu thought to himself before falling asleep..

The two woke up and ate some break, before getting changed and heading back to their estate to relax before their next mission.

While on their way, however, their crows came flying to them, in a rush and obviously distressed.

"Kaw Kaw, we came to report that Flower Hashira Kanae Kocho has passed away in an altercation with Upper Moon 2! Kaw Kaw I repeat!" The crows said.

The two stood their in shock and silence, watching their crows fly off together.

'I couldn't save her.. I couldn't do it. I wasn't their.. Is this why..' Giyuu thoughts were interrupted.

"I think.. That's the feeling you had yesterday.. If only we were there.." Sabito said sadly. "Let's continue back.."

The two walked all the way to their estate in silence. They went inside and went into their separate rooms. Giyuu sat down in his futon, lost in thought and full of sadness.

Shinobu was in distraught after her sister had passed away. She started wearing her Haori and mimicked her personality, so she would become more likeable.

'Nee-san loved when I smiled..' Shinobu thought to herself whenever she would get mad.

She soon became a Hashira in her sister's spot. She wasn't able to decapitate demons, but she made a poison to make up for that.

She became friends with all the Hashira, even Giyuu, since he was with Sabito this time around. She smiled her way through everything, trying to hide the anger, pain, and sorrow she was constantly feeling.

'I will kill that damned demon! He will pay for killing my sister!' Shinobu thought to herself one night in her room, before going to sleep.

A few years later, after everything with Tanjiro and Nezuko, Giyuu and Sabito were chilling a few days after the trial, on a tree nearby their house.

"I still think what you did there was good. I may not like demons, but seeing his sister refuse blood, especially Sanemi's, is very surprising! Good thing no one hates you on it!" Sabito said, patting Giyuu's back.

"..Thanks, I'm glad most of the Hashira agree with my instinct.. I truly believe Tanjiro will become a great demon slayer.. Thanks for visiting him those times on your break to help him.." Giyuu said.

"It's not a problem at all! Thankfully Kocho took him and his friends in, along with his sister. She's changed a lot.." Sabito said.

"..Yeah, she has.. She's always smiling now, in contrast to her old self.." Giyuu said, looking down from the tree. Sabito simply nodded.

"I'm gonna head inside to relax for a bit. Come inside whenever you please." Sabito said, jumping down from the tree and heading inside their estate. Giyuu now sat alone in the tree, in his thoughts.

'I won't let her fight him alone.. This time, it will end differently..'
