~Third Person POV~
Sabito and Giyuu were sleeping a few weeks after becoming Hashira, peacefully until..
"Kaw Kaw! Water Hashira Sabito and Giyuu! Mission out West! People have been going missing! Investigate and eliminate the demon!" Sabito's crow screeched, Giyuu's following silently.
The two woke up and greeted each other in the kitchen.
"I'll make some tea. You get ready Giyuu." Sabito said, heading to the fridge.
"Alright" Giyuu replied, leaving back to his room.
After the two drank their tea and got ready, they headed out West to their mission.
The two talked while heading there, until they reached the village.
"Aren't we gonna look suspicious with swords?" Sabito asked.
"..It'll be fine I think.. Just say your a detective.." Giyuu said.
"Okay. Let's go. I'll do the talking!" Sabito said, leading the way, Giyuu following closely behind.
Sabito asked around and they got a good idea on how the demon acted; It killed middle aged men and women at night.
"..I doesn't seem to be a Kizuki.. But you never know.." Giyuu said, as they sat on a bench, waiting for the night to come.
"Yeah. Let's keep our guard up!" Sabito replied.
Once it became night, the two stuck close and searched around, looking for the demon.
They eventually found it. The demon wasn't a Kizuki fortunately, but they knew what they were doing.
The two struggled with the demon, as it had a blood demon art. They ended up injured a bit afterwards.
".. Remember that one Hashira that said they were a doctor.. Let's go to their place.." Giyuu suggested.
"Ah.. I remember! I guess. I don't know where it is.." Sabito said.
"I think I know where it is, Follow me.." Giyuu said, Sabito nodded and the two slowly made there way to the Butterfly Mansion.
"Nee-san! There are no longer any patients!" Shinobu yelled through the kitchen.
"Ah Shinobu! That's great! I'm gonna head outside! Please help Aoi make breakfast!" Kanae said to her sister. Shinobu nodded and went to help Aoi. Kanae headed outside.
"Ah.. What a nice day! The sun is shining and the flowers are-" Kanae stopped as she saw Giyuu and Sabito injured, walking through the gate.
"Ara? Are you two okay?" Kanae asked, rushing over to them.
"..Demon was more powerful than anticipated.. Nothing severe but still.." Giyuu said, looking up at Kanae.
"Ah alright! Come inside!" Kanae said. She lead the two inside and showed them where the infirmary was. She gave them a change in clothes and let them choose a bed.
"I'll let you two change! Let me get my sister! She'll treat you two!" Kanae said, rushing out the room. The two got changed and sat on their beds waiting.
"Shinobu! There's two new patients!" Kanae yelled into the kitchen.
"Ugh! Who is it?" Shinobu asked, annoyed.
"Oh! The two new Water Hashira! It's nothing severe don't worry!" Kanae said.
"Alright.." Shinobu replied, putting down the plate she was holding and heading to the infirmary. She walked in and saw the two sitting on separate beds, talking.
"Hey!" Shinobu yelled, making the two jump a bit.
"Hello! I'm Sabito!" Sabito said, introducing himself. "That guy next to me is Giyuu Tomioka! He's a quiet one don't mine him!"
"..Hi" Giyuu said slightly.
"Whatever. Where are you two injured?" Shinobu asked.
"Our chest and arms." Giyuu said.
"Let me see.."
The two took their shirt off. Shinobu inspected them and ended up bandaging the twos chest.
"Now you two can put your shirts back on! Stay here for the day and rest! And don't be difficult please." Shinobu said, leaving the room.
'Heh.. It's really her.. Good to see you again, Kocho.. I guess I still crush on you..' Giyuu thought to himself as Shinobu left. He laid down and fell asleep.
