Chapter 31

Tem

It's been two weeks and I was still in the hospital. I was feeling much better but I'm still here. It was getting really frustrating and I wanted to go back home already. I am surprised the three of us could stay together in one place without any argument. It will be stupid of us to fight in this situation. Tay and Time didn't talk much but there was no hate in the atmosphere. It felt good actually.

I sat on the bed staring intently at Tay who had a mischievous look in his eyes.

"Cutie, I thought we would be leaving the hospital in a few days like you told me two weeks ago but I'm still here?" Tay shot me a glare.

"Look, I did not hear the doctor clearly at the time. Why are you complaining? You had a bruised face, a gunshot wound, we were lucky you didn't break a rib. Gentleman, I think you should quit complaining. We will be out of here in a few days." He scolded and with this fierceness, I knew I had to shut up.

"Time also got you permission from school so you can relax and focus on recovery." I nodded at this.

Both of them have been of great help to me and I really appreciate it. Tay stayed here most of the time and leaves only when Time was around to take care of me. I needed to get out of this bed. I felt like a burden to the both of them and I did not like that.

The door click open and Time walked in.

"Sorry am late, I had to take care of something urgent." He said with apologetic eyes, making his way over to sit beside me.

"Since you're here, I'll go get us something to eat." Tay immediately got on his feet and walked out of the room.

Time looked at me with a questionable expression and I shrugged.

"Feeling much better?" He sounds concerned.

"I feel much better and you don't have to worry. I'll get better soon and quit being a burden to you guys." I replied and he cocked a brow.

"Quit talking nonsense Tem, you are not a burden. You're our responsibility and so let us take care of you, please?"

I nod and he suddenly looked at me mischievously. What is he planning on saying this time? I didn't like this look at all.

"That reminds me Tem, you know your time is finally up right? I gave you one whole month and I think you succeeded." He said with a smile as he crossed his arms over his chest.

I completely remember but he had to bring it up now? He could have at least waited till I left the hospital.

"Stop giving me that look baby, I gave you one month and your time is finally up. I'm not a very patient person but I waited." I only stared blankly at him, not able to utter a word.

"Tem, I think it's time I win you both back. I know we all feel the same way towards eachother without a doubt and I am confident I can do this."

I stared at him still not saying a word. I honestly didn't know what to say to him.

"I d-ont think I want to." I managed to say and his expression got serious.

"Your eyes says otherwise Tem, you want me and so do I. Tay has the same look in his eyes. In as much as I wanted to kiss you badly this past two weeks, I fought every urge to do so and controlled myself. I did not want to mess up again. I don't want to loose you both again. Your lips are inviting me right now but before I take a step and kiss you, I want Tay to be in agreement. I can't be an asshole again." He finished and I sighed.

There was sincerity in his eyes and I knew without a doubt he was being honest. I need him too and I can't deny that. It felt like the three hearts needed to be together to make it complete. I saw the day he hugged Tay and I knew Tay wanted him too. We all want eachother and it wouldn't be fair to Time if I'm with Tay and he is being left out. What do I do? He was an asshole back then but he sure regrets his actions and he wants to make up for it. Am not that heartless. He has suffered enough. He even saved Tay and I selflessly. He was looking at me with hopeful eyes and it was really piercing my soul.
