Prom was coming and Derrick had become a stranger, Barvin started talking to the same girl Roderick was talking to the girl I despise, and I had met the sweetest young man ever! T-Mac was so sweet treated me like a queen, but I was stuck on Barvin for some reason. I went to prom with T-Mac and had so much fun he treated legit perfectly, but he was a mama's boy and anything she said he jumped to it which eventually would end bad. Til this day I still don't understand how I spent so much time in Longview without my parents questioning where I was lol. True enough I was 18, but I was still the baby. Tryna be grown and they wanted to teach me a lesson i guess. I needed up staying on 13th street when I wasn't in school. Then graduation rolled around and my parents were so proud of me it made me feel like I finally did something right! As they called Toni LaJewel Martin I could hear my dad in the crowd I looked up and him and my mom were standing smiling that was the first time I seen my dad cry!! I could also hear in the crowd my cousin Tye and Neka being ghetto lol. As Imy tassel was crossed and I was walking off stage Barvin had made his way to me and gave me the biggest hug and kiss on the cheek I could feel all the glares, but I was focused on the butterflies. After we through our hats up I immediately went to look for my daddy! You see I'm a big daddies girl and I wanted to see his face! He gave me the biggest hug as well as my mom, aunt Faye, and uncle Ray I had made my family proud! Later on that evening my play family in Longview blocked off the whole 13th street and had a graduation party for me which I had no clue about that was the time of my life!! Finally done with school and party like there's no tomorrow!
