// Chapter Ten //

Shade was looking for his lost sister, worry begun to flood over his body and cover him. How could he of let this happen. He felt angry with himself and at Jammer. Suddenly he saw a figure in the dark. It had a halfy dull purple glow as well as a blood trail. Shade recognized that color and called out to the figure. "..Nigh-.. Nightshade?-"

The figure perked its ear up and turned around, Shade could still hardly see his sister, all he could was a glowing purple eye. Shade went charging and tightly hugged his sister, only for his fur to brush up against something.. it felt like-. Bones?- and a ribcage but he could still feel part of his sisters fur?-

Shade lowered his ears and backed up, pulling out a flashlight, and shining it against Nightshade.

"..Brother I-."

"Sister what happened to you?-"

" ... "

"..Sister?-"

"..R U N.."

Jammer was still with Proto-vi, and they seemed rather out of breath. "Do you think we lost them?-" Proto-vi stared, their red eyes blinked only to look away. "Probably." Jammer looked back at Proto-vi and rested his head agaist their shoulder. Her fluffy wolf tail wrapping around Proto-vi's. Suddenly Jammer perked his head up, looking around as she had heard a sound. Proto-vi looked at Jammer, trying to assure him that it was ok, but as soon as Jammer turned, proto-vi was.. gone?. 'No.. no.. that wasn't right, they were JUST there. WHERE COULD THEY HAVE GONE?!-.' Jammer started to panic right before something slammed into the back of her head. The
Pressure caused him to pass out.

Figs looked at the tree, but something seemed-. off. The tree seemed to be overgrowing more even if that was nearly impossible, suddenly because of the tree's growth, vines begun to sprout and wrap around Figs legs. They started to panic, trying to remove the vines but the thorns only sunk into their fur/flesh. Figs made a cry as the thorns sliced their flesh opened, berries sprouted out of the vines and they kept growing on Figs til it reached their head. Figs tried to move but the vines were keeping them stuck. The thorns of the vines then stabbed both of Figs eyes, practically blinding them. Figs started to shriek in pain and Kawaii Shork was aware, she came rushing towards the garden room and stared in shock.

The vines were tangled around Figs, digging into their flesh and even ripping parts of their fur/skin to reveal bones. Figs turned around but all Kawaiishork could see was a bloody skull and ripped fluff around it, the vines digging deep into its eye sockets. "..Ka-kawaii?- Sh-..ork?-" The Figs sounded weak as it tried moving towards the frightened and worried shark. Instead of running away Kawaiishork only walked over, wrapping her arms around the aching Figs. "..Yes Figs.. I'm here.. and I'll always be here." Figs wrapped their arms around Kawaiishork as well, the thorns digging into her back but she didn't care. All she cared about was Figs.

Plantix felt like something was off so her cherry-blossom flowers begun to wilt. Nightcrawler noticed this and felt worried. "..What's wrong cherry blossom?-" Plantix looked at it before looking away. "..It's Figs. . they're in a lot of pain and so is their tree..-" She then paused, immediately going into panic. "WE NEED TO FIND THEM.. WE- WE NEED TO SEE IF THEY'RE OKAY- WE- WE-." Her eyes begun to water and she was on the verge of crying, Nightcrawler instead grabbed her wrist and pulled her into a loving kiss, Plantix eventually calmed down and Nightcrawler stopped. "..Let's go find them, together." Nightcrawler's hand soon intertwined with Plantix's as they both walked off, going to find Figs.
