Marco's POV
Later in the day someone knocked on the front door.
"I'll get it." Jean said standing up and walking to the door
"Hi Jean! Did the liquid work?" Said someone who's voice I didn't recognize
"Yeah, it did. Wanna come in Hange?" Jean said as I stood up and peeked around the corner to see who he was talking to
"Sure! I'd love to meet Marco!" Hange said and walked in. She was about the same height as Eren and Mikasa, had dark brown eyes and hair, and wore glasses.
"Marco, one of my friends is here to meet you!" Jean called. I gave it about five seconds before I walked around the corner
"Hello, I'm Marco, what's your name?" I asked holding out my hand, but instead Hange came up and hugged me. I hugged her back awkwardly to be polite
"I'm Hange, and it's nice to meet you too."
"So you're the one that brought me back to life? It's nice to finally meet you" I said smiling
"Yeah, I was worried it wouldn't work. I had to kill a squirrel in order to make sure, of course the squirrel died in the next five minutes, but you get what I had to do." Hange said
"Wait, you killed a squirrel for this Hange?" Jean asked in disbelief
"Yeah, and I wasn't a forensic scientist and really close with Levi, then I would've been arrested for it" she said
"Oh, you know the captain? That's great to hear." I said
"Why?"
"Because that means Jean didn't have to go to your place of work... hopefully." I said
"Um... actually, that's how we met... he was there when I examined your body..." Hange said as I looked at her in shock
"Y-yeah, that's why she decided to help me." Jean said with tears
"Well, I'm still happy to meet you nonetheless." I said
"Yeah, oh, and have you heard about Annie yet Jean? She's being put on probation since it was an accident, she called 911, and she plead guilty." Hange said looking at Jean
"What did Annie do?" I asked nervously
"She... she's the one that hit you... she didn't see you because she was in a hurry and that's when it happened. She called the cops and told them about everything, she even plead guilty and now I guess she's getting out."
"Oh..." I said
"Yeah, I'm sorry you found out this way. I stopped talking to her because of it." Jean said
"Well if it was an accident then let's go see her, she can explain why she was in such a hurry and what all happened, right?" I suggested and Jean looked at me in shock
"Are you crazy?! She killed you dude!" Jean said in shock
"But it was an accident. I feel bad for her." I said grabbing my jacket and sliding it on
"You are going with or without me, aren't you Marco." Jean said in more of a statement than a question, and I just nodded "Fine, let's go."
"Okay! Let's go say hi to Annie." I said and walked out the door with Jean and Hange
