In the middle of the night, right outside the city of Alnus, gunshots were being heard. You could also hear soldiers screaming in terror.
Soldier 1: They're too fast! Gah!
Soldier 2: What are these things?!
Right outside the city, a bunch of soldiers were firing bullets at three vampire girls but with no effect. Shalltear was one of these girls as she yawned, reflecting their bullets with her finger.
Shalltear: Pathetic humans. No matter how much they advance, they are no match.
The lesser vampires stormed after the military soldiers, taking them out one by one as their blood gathered into a ball above Shalltears head. She started to approach a female soldier as she liked her lips, when suddenly a large Halberd landed between them, causing a shockwave that nearly knocked her back. She looked up to see Rory Mercury landing in front of her.
Shalltear: And whomever should you be?
Rory: Let's just say I'm a territorial Demi-Goddess... and you have stepped into my territory.
She looked back at the other soldiers, signaling them to leave.
As they ran, one of the Lesser Vampires was about to run after them but Rory picked up the Halberd and swung it, destroying the vampire's upper body and causing it to splatter blood on the floor.
Shalltear: Well now, it seems if I want to continue I'll have to play with you a little.
