The Winx and I were all in professor Wizgiz's class, learning the art of metamorphosis. "Good morning, everyone. As usual it befalls me to kick off the school year. Now, for those of you who haven't met me yet, I am Professor Wizgiz, your teacher of metamorphosis, or as I prefer to call it... The art of changing the way you look." Wizgiz spoke, transforming himself into Ms. Griselda, causing everyone to clap, amazed. "Oh that's nothing, five years and you'll be doing better than that." Wizgiz told us, going back to his original form. "And since every ending must have a beginning, let us start with a simple exercise." Wizgiz spoke, making us each a mirror.

"Concentrate. Look in the mirror. Look at yourself and think about changing the color of your hair." He instructed us all. I decided to make my hair pink, but a lighter pink, like a rose quarts crystal. Bloom seemed to be struggling to make her hair change color and I could tell she wouldn't leave the rest of us alone about it until she finally was able to do it. "Don't worry Bloom, if at first you don't succeed, try again." Wizgiz told her, not knowing that she would try so hard it would stress out the rest of our dorm.

Later that day, we were all back in our dorm, and Bloom was still trying to get the hair change thing. "Let's try again, okay?" Bloom asked, annoying me even more than I already was. "Alright. One last time and that's it. School's just beginning, if you don't get it today it's not the end of the world." I spoke, annoyed. "Where I come from there's a saying, 'don't put off till tomorrow what you can do today." Bloom spoke. "Where we come from, there's no such thing. And on Dyamond you would be laughed at for even saying that." I spoke harshly. "Crystal, please?" Bloom whined. "Alright! But remember, concentration is key. Think of a color and imagine your hair starting to change. The new color is slowly spreading through the roots to the tip of your hair." I spoke calmly, knowing it would help with the transformation. "Great, see what I end up with." Bloom complained glaring at me, her hair hadn't changed color, but her bangs had moved. "If you're going to glare at me, I'm not going to help you. I told you to concentrate and you're not!" I spoke angrily.

"Well, at least something happened. And that's progress." Flora spoke kindly, making me less mad and I started laughing at Blooms hair. Bloom and Flora talked for a little longer before Bloom asked the two of us why we were here. "Well, I'm here because I want to protect my kingdom, my home. I'm the princess of Dyamond, soon to be queen because my brother turned down the crown. I have to know how to protect my planet." I told her sadly, I didn't want to be queen but I wasn't going to put that title onto my little sister so I accepted. "I want to be a real fairy too. But I'm here primarily because I really love to learn." Flora spoke. "That is such a nerdy answer." I giggle throwing a pillow at the girl making her giggle too. "What about you Bloom?" Flora asked, still giggling. "That's the problem, I have no idea what I'm doing here." Bloom spoke looking out the window.
