S2-E12: Win-x Together

Crystal's POV:

      The Winx and I sat in our newest class, Applied Magical Convergence with Faragonda, and I had finally been officially cleared for magic. After the issue with the pixies the nurse check that I was perfectly fine and I could once again start using magic so I was back in class and actually had to do work this time.

      "Welcome to applied magical convergence class, the purpose of this subject is to enable you to improve the effectiveness of your spells. It is a very difficult topic and it will require a lot of work." Miss. Faragonda started, explaining the basics of what we would be learning. Bloom was quick to raise her hand to ask questions that if she thought about she would already have the answer to. "Miss, what is magical convergence?" Bloom asked. "It is the ability to combine the magic powers of two or more fairies into ultra powerful spells." Faragonda explained to her. 

      "How?" Stella asked, looking over at Bloom. "First of all, superior spell casting skills are absolutely essential. You must also come to understand your own magic better than ever before." Faragonda nodded, looking from Bloom to Stella, and then to me. "Why's that?" Bloom continued to ask questions. "It's easy enough to make mistakes by yourself. Combined magic is more complex, no room for error." Faragonda continued, walking over to Flora as she asked a question. "It's like it takes on a life of its own?" She questioned, lifting her head from the palm of her hand.

      Faragonda smirked with narrowed eyes but her expression quickly changed. "In a way that's true, yes." With that Stella raised her hand and started yelling to get her attention. "Miss! Let me get this straight, you're saying that all of us could combine powers? Like mine and Crystal's sun shield?" Stella questioned. Faragonda didn't say anything and just nodded in agreement. "All right! Yes! A super winx spell!" Stella cheered. I seemed to be the only one who noticed Layla's sad face, giving her a small smile to let her know that I saw her. "Now, for your first assignment, you'll be working in pairs." Faragonda finished.

      The winx and I all sat outside in the courtyard after classes, all of us tired and ready to crash in our beds. "All these exercises are too much work." Stella whined with a yawn. "Did you check on how the pixies are doing?" Flora asked. "Me and Crystal went this morning. Palladium is making sure the homesickness spell has completely worn off." Bloom explained. "He suggested they get proper rest on proper beds, so they all got their own equally dramatic Crystal-themed beds." Bloom continued laughing. "What?! I wasn't going to let them sleep on the floor!" I yelled.
