S2-E2: Up to Their Old Trix

Crystal's POV:

      It was late at night, a few days after I had taken Layla to the nurse. I had tried to stay but the nurse told me that I had to leave because we had classes tomorrow but promised if there were any updates she would let me know. As I walked back into my dorm, the girls were sitting together in the Bloom and Flora's room and Bloom was pacing around. "Relax Bloom, I know it's four days but she'll wake up soon I'm sure." Flora spoke, not noticing I had walked in. "Alright, if we're gonna stay up with her all night let's talk about important stuff." Stella spoke, sitting up from her spot on the bed. "Oh god, Stella, that's concerning coming from you." I laughed walked over to Flora. "Wouldn't you rather talk about Jasper's girlfriend?" Musa teased, making the yellow blonde upset. "And who is Jasper's girlfriend?" The girl all but sounded angry.

      "It's you Stella, remember?" Techna laughed. Stella looked angry, crouching in front of Musa with a pout making us all laugh. "The sun will be up in exactly 12 minutes." Techna told us, looking at her phone. "Oh no, none of us have slept a wink! How will we stay awake tomorrow?" Flora exclaimed. "You mean today." Techna and I smirked together. "Don't worry, let's just sleep in, it's the first week of school, classes are optional." Stella explained to us. "Yeah, sure, Stella, great way to start the year." Musa spoke, in the middle of a yawn. "Fine, fine, bedtime ladies, enough talk about boys." Stella laughed.

      I watched everyone walk back into the rooms but I just walked back into the common room. I couldn't sleep, not when I knew that my friend wasn't awake yet, and she hadn't been for four days. I knew her when we were younger, we were best friend, it was just me and her for the longest time because I had to leave Dyamond for a year and I wasn't allowed to see Stella or my family. Layla was all I had, and yet, I haven't seen her in years, but she remembered me.

      A while later, when everyone else had woken back up we all walked to class together, we had professor Wizgiz first. "I know what you're thinking, wouldn't it be nice if all the things in the universe were good. Well thats not the case, furthermore that's not possible because in the universe there is no light without darkness. When a form of energy is created it produces an opposite force, equally strong. Observe." Wizgiz explained putting his hand out to demonstrate what he was explaining to us. "What do you see?" Wizgiz asked us, but there wasn't anything there.
