𝗣errin woke up at around eleven a.m. in the morning, as the sun was shining outside of his window, he could hear birds chirping in the distance outside as he got off his bed, of course, he rubbed his eyes so he could fully wake up, and when he did, he got out of his pajamas and put on casual clothes (medieval, of course).
He walked down the steps which attracted Betty as she glanced at him. "You're all dressed," she said. "Where are you going?"
"Out," said Perrin, "trying to.. look for jobs."
"About time," murmured Betty, as she continued chopping the cheese with her knife, as Perrin walked out of the house, as he walked down the slope, where he heard a voice chasing after him.
"Perrin! Perrin!" said the voice, as a figure appeared out of the distance and chased Perrin down the slope. "Perrin! So glad i catched up to 'ya!"
"Gimitri?" said Perrin. "What are you doing here so early?"
"I know! It is mad, but i couldnt help but overhear your conversation with Mr. Arathor yesterday."
"What are you talking about?" he asked sternly.
"Oh, do you not know?" said Gimitri, as he began to explain slowly. "On the Roof, he talked about giving you a job-errand, thingy, i do not know."
"And whats it to you?" said Perrin, taking out his scimitar. "Are you setting me up?"
"No, no! I will not do such a thing!" said Gimitri. "Perrin lad, forgive me. Please! I did not meant to eavesdrop on you! Please!"
"You are the only one who knows of this buisness," said Perrin, as he looked around, before grabbing Gimitri by his collar, "you're coming with me, lets go!"
And then they both rushed down the slope together.By the time they made it to the main city Perrin had put his scimitar back in its sheath, but he still had a tight grip on Gimitri as they passed the civilians like a normal day.
"Where are we going?" said Gimitri. "I do not like the sound of this."
"Neither do i," said Perrin, "but we have to get there. Quick too."
He checked the piece of paper that Arathor gave him. "We shouldn't be long, do not blurt out a word."
They continued walking, as they glanced at the market stores besides them, but took no action as they kept walking.
"I think we should rest," said Gimitri, "we've been walking for a while now, i need to sit down."
Gimitri went to sit on the bench, but Perrin grabbed him up. "We're not sitting down!" he said. "We have to get there, now come on!"
Perrin started walking quicker, as they went up a road (more of a slope) as they entered the forest.
"I haven't visited the wild life much," Gimitri thought, "nor the forests, of course, i thought the things that happened here were all fairy tales, i thought the beautiful flowers were all fairy tales, but it is not. They are very real here, which makes me smile a little, although i do not know where Perrin is taking me, i hope he is not trying to get me killed. I trust him, he does not seem dangerous as he gives off the energy which succeeds."They made it to the top of a hill, where a Tower was standing tall infront of them.
"Well, this is it i guess," said Perrin, as he turned around, "sheesh, we're pretty far up."
"You don't think that we're on the top of the kingdom, are we?" said Gimitri. "Holy shit! Merry! I think this is a trap!"
"It's not a trap!" said Perrin. "Arathor agreed to work with me. I trust him, okay? I trust him! It's not like theres a way out now. Is it? We've made it! Making our ways back down could get us both ki-"
The Doors slammed open, as Arathor stood above them. "Hello there," he said, "you have made it, Percival."
He glanced towards Gimitri. "And who is your friend?"
"His name is Gimitri," said Perrin, "he works for my parents."
"And why is he here?" asked Arathor.
Perrin gulped. "Well, i don't know how to say this. But he knows about your conspiracy, he eavesdropped on our conversation."
Arathor chuckled. "My, my, what a risky thing to do," he said, with a huge smile on his face. "Eavesdropping on a upper class citizen, very sneaky, but dumb!"
Arathor swung the sword at Gimitri, which made Perrin's eyes widen, as Gimitri covered his face, but nothing happened as a few inches of hair fell from Gimitri's side.
Arathor suddenly changed his tone. "It will be nice to have a second companion," he said. "Come along, younglings!"Perrin and Gimitri walked inside, as the doors slammed shut, with Arathor leading them up the stairs.
"I do not trust him, not one bit!" thought Gimitri. "He's already scared me, i do not know what Perrin sees in him. But i trust him, so i will have to take this risk. Although it is very fishy."
They made it to the top of the Tower as a few other soldiers were there, as Merry and Gimitri gazed at them, with the Soldiers sitting at a table.
One of them took a Pipeweed out of his mouth. "These are the recruits?" he said. "I did not know we was having two."
"Yes, it is two," said Arathor; "meet Perekin Bethel, heir of The Bethel Family, and Gimitri the Gardener."
Perrin and Gimitri bowed low at the Soldiers, as one said: "hey, maybe these guys could be our slaves!" as the others laughed.
Perrin and Gimitri was embarrassed, as Arathor skipped the subject. "We need to make plans quick, there is no time to waste."
"Well, where are we going?" said Gimitri.
"Far, far from here," said Arathor, "there is... problems, going on, yes, big, bad, problems."
"Well, are we going to fight anybody?"
"It is possible, but we need to be fast, or we will get caught."
Perrin was looking out of the window, as Gimitri looked down at the ground. Wondering what he had just gotten himself into.
"We will begin moving in a few days," said Arathor. "Do not be afraid, you two may be unskilled. But we will protect you with all our skill."
He took out a scroll and untied it, revealing the map of the Nazrule Kingdom.
"Okay, now it's time to get into buisness. Gather around!"
They all gathered around at the table, as Arathor began pointing to locations, giving them clarification on where they are leaving and where they are going, although he did not explain it clear enough; it was uncertain to the others where they was actually walking themselves into.Seven is soon!
