The kids were home now and Tameka and Mimi was here too. We were just sitting in the living room laughing and goofing off as the kids do their homework and A.J is sitting in my lap just talking about random stuff. Tameka turns on the tv and the channel was on the New York One news. She was about to change it but a news story caught our attention.

News Reporter: Police and investigators are just are arriving to the seen off a car accident that happened not to long on the highway. No witnesses were here so it's hard to figure out what caused this massive car accident. This car accident left two men dead and four police officers injured. They are being rushed to a local hospital. We have the names of the police officers that were involved in this accident which are Candice Pitt, Mary Santiago, Regina Santiago, and Annie Hernandez. With that being said we got up and gathered up the kids and found out the hospital they were in. We called up a few loved ones and told them what was happening. When we arrived at the hospital when instantly Melissa and the others in the waiting room.

Dense: What happened

Melissa: i don't know I wasn't there. All I know is Annie requested backup saying saying three cars were following her. When I arrived at the seen Mary was shot one truck was smashed into Annie car while another was smashed into Regina's and also her car had bullet holes in it and there was no sign of the cars that were following them

Tameka: Are they going to be okay

Melissa: We don't know yet

We sat there for hours waiting. After a while Candice parents came in. We been at the hospital since the early afternoon and it was one in the morning now. Finally a doctor was finally giving us a update.

Doctor: Regina has a fractured hip. Thanks to her bullet proof vest the bullet didn't hurt her. She has a concussion and other than that she's fine. Mary, we were able to remove the bullet from her hand. She won't have no feeling in her left hand or arm for a while but she will eventually get back it with some arm and hand exercises. Candice lost two teeth, she also has a broke jaw and we had to wire her mouth shut. She has a broken foot and several cuts and bruises. Annie also had to have her jaw rewired shut, she has a concussion, broken arm, broken knee and she has no feeling in her right leg right now. I gave her the number to the best physical therapist I know but she is definitely going to be in a wheelchair for a while. They are all asleep right now and they can be discharged in the morning.

With that being said the doctor walked off. I can't believe it Annie is in a wheelchair. This is definitely going to change things. I know she is really hurting right now and I'm going to be there for her every step of the way.
