Well it's January 2nd which means back to work. I'm still feeling like I'm having a hangover from New Year's eve. Annie is still out and Regina is still on desk duty and so is Mary and Candice which means we only have half a team. It's just me, Neya, Shelly and Dylan right now. There have been more crimes lately and I just been giving the others non stop paperwork. Just then I walk up to Regina desk and dropped a stack of papers on it. She glared at me and I did the same back. I could tell she was getting frustrated but theirs nothing I could do. Just then Rosy walks into my place of work. She is still in the police academy and was doing all these different tests right now.

Melissa: What are you doing here

Rosy: I just wanted you to be the first to know I passed my written exam look 100%" she said waving around the paper

Melissa: I am so proud of you love" she said hugging her

Rosy: Well I should get going now, next up is the polygraph test

Melissa: Good luck

With that being said Rosy left. By the summer time she will be all finished up with school and she will join my team if she passes her physical exam because that's the most important part. Just then I seen Dense coming up the stairs.

Melissa: You do know Annie not here right

She just smiled at me making me wonder what the hell is she up too. Just then Annie made it up the stairs. She was walking, she had a cane, and was limping but she walking now. We all gave her a big hug. This girl is warrior, she doesn't stop no matter what you put her through.

Melissa: By the beginning of February I walk your ass back at work

Annie: Good morning Annie how are you fine thanks for asking how's the leg getting back everyday good can't wait for you to come back" she said sarcastically with a smile

Melissa: Lol bye

With that being said they walked off down the stairs. Well Dense walked while Annie was being carried. The word is that they're engaged now which is so nice because they make the perfect couple. Just then Neya came walking in looking tired as ever. Her hair was a mess and you could tell she was still hung over.

Melissa: Are you good

Neya: yeah I'm fine just having a hangover

Melissa: Seems like you and Candi had fun

Neya: Lots

After that I gave her hug then as I walked in my office. It's a slow day today since everyone is recovering from News Years eve. I just sat down in my office and took a nap.
