Chapter 5 - Misty-Eyed

Staring intently at my chest, Kaito remained robotically, glued to the spot. I had thought that perhaps he had no intention of even making the first move. Even after the red laser beam shot out, connecting us, he simply did not attempt to move, whatsoever.

"A-Are you gonna move or what?" I finally asked him as I looked up in worry. Even so, he remained just as stoic as ever...
