Mother held up her chin on the first day.

She had a grim look. A mask that changed and an extremely sharp chin.

Aline looked left to right so she could escape from this house. It was even different now, but she couldn't question it.

Mother could sense how Aline felt nervous, so she told her something that she "shouldn't forget" as Mother stated.

"Dear Aline, The Exsor is the shell. The user of the account. Our dear Carol and Hailey have figured this, and I'll leave the mystery up to you."

She pushed Aline onto the wall of her new bedroom and left the room, slamming the door shut.

Aline looked around. It was a mansion. Almost villainous. Because of course, She's the Forced Villain.

She whispered to herself.

"This can't be happening."

Shedding tears wasn't possible because the gas had dried up the place.

Aline figured she'll have to escape.

The window was bright and open. Something Mother would probably miss, but Aline did not know Mother well.

So she jumped.

She felt as if a hand with sharp nails caught onto her.

"You know, I did it to test how you'd settle in this home."

"Father is mad. He will be punishing you now."

Her eyes emitted fear and her body was trembling.

For she did not know her parents anymore. Everyone she knew was either dead or evil.

It was a deep situation.

Mother dragged her outside of the room. The mansion was decorated with dark wood and portraits of people just like Mother.

Mother dragged her onto the room Father was in.

She heard a deep voice.

Then it was him.

Wearing the same mask. A theater mask to be exact.

A suit and a classic fedora..Snakes that emitted from his back..He's a classic villain.

Aline did not care what she'll go through with this punishment. She's undergone too much pain and grief.

She was careless.

She entered the room and Mother left. The door closed shut and Father sang a song.

One of the snakes bit her.

The song had a happy tone. He kept dancing and doing magic tricks.

"A trickster is your type of style, isn't it?" Aline said.

The song stopped and he looked at her.

"At this point, if you had killed yourself instead of Hailey, the pain would be much more than what I'll do to you."

Although Aline tried to keep calm and neutral, it scared her.

The look in his empty, yet happy eyes made her feel as if she was doomed to this.

They both looked at eachother for what felt like an eternity.

Finally, Aline sobbed.

Her sister and friend dying were too much. Her parents disappearing was frightening and these people just made it worse.

"Good. I'm glad we've agreed on this."

Mother's voice called out "Vass!"

He opened the door and they talked about things like they've known eachother for years.

"Will she accept this look?"

"Yes dear. Mere humans are nothing to worry about."

Aline felt as if this was the chance.

Killing them was the chance.

She grabbed the scissors to kill Mother, but father pointed them at her neck instead.

"This pain is better than what I'll do to you."

He cut the shape of a shell on her neck.

"Soon, The pain of the mask will be lower because of this."

"Yes. She's adjusting well. Hailey has done the sa-"

Aline grabbed the scissors from Father and cut mother.

Mother's mask changed to sad as Aline felt something sharp cut through her skin.

"Oh why don't you love me dear?"

"Sorry."

Aline looked at them and went downstairs, which was a new place in this strange house.

Then the world stopped.
