The Forced Villain

Why?

Aline just asked herself.

"Why do you wake up everyday if you know your life will be ruined again one way or another, with no repair?"

"Why do you wake up when you know you're in a tale where everyone just wants their way?"

"Why. Why."

There was a book beside Mother.

It was..interesting.

The tale of a man who deceived a young girl.

“Once upon a time, a young little girl went to the park with 5 apples.

A boy asked for 2, because he was hungry, and she agreed.

She went with 7 so she could give him 2 like last time, and it continued.

He had more and more apples by the time the month passed.

He used the apples to make a wonderful apple pie.

One day, the boy gave her a wonderful apple pie, and asked her to meet at the back of a store.

But little did she know, she did not go back into her normal life.

He took her and she asked for a companion. He refused.

Then, came a wonderful puppy, but it was mean and did not like it.

The girl tried to help the puppy to cope, but the boy made it worse and controlled the girl.

Then..the puppy killed both of them when it had the chance.

The girl was me. The boy was Father. The puppy was you.

The apples were trust.

I should have not trusted the boy when he told me about the game.”

Aline closed the book.

Mother's story felt like an arrow to the heart.

If Forced Villain ended here, there wouldn't be anything.

So Aline sat and went to the balcony.

How could Hailey be so similar to Aline in the storyline?, Aline wondered.

If her purpose is to create fun things to read for you, although she'll endure such pain, she'll do it.

The adventure is..

Is...

Is...

USELESS.

If people keep killing eachother to get what they want, is this really even fair anymore?

Everyone had a villain.

Everyone wanted their way.

Aline's goal was lost to time all due to the events that happened just because Hailey wanted to reverse time.

Aline cannot avenge Quinn and Carol, nor save Hailey.

Aline cannot do anything anymore.

All of what Hailey did to do something was just..out of grief.

Looking down at the empty street, knowing she wouldn't be able to reach it, was useless.

Gone.

Forever.

When will somebody act to Aline like how Hailey was to Xavier?
