Yoo (Y/N)'s POV

"This is the cafeteria, it's quite spacious. Don't be fooled but the food here sucks." Irene spoke lowly then giggled.

There were tons of students currently going in and out of the place, the noise was bearable. I could see some of them eyeing me curiously, probably because I wasn't wearing their uniform.

"Unnie!"

Both Irene and I turned towards the source of the loud shout. It was coming from a group of girls walking towards us. The group consisted of four people and they were all beauties just like Irene. They must be friends judging from how they greeted her with smiles.

I felt a bit awkward since I didn't know these people however I think I have seen one of them. Then I remembered, she was the one who was with Irene when we first bumped into each other.

I waved my hand as a greeting towards them, a polite smile plastered on my face. These were the friends of Irene so I need to have the best impression possible.

"Girls, this is Yoo (Y/N). He's going to study here." Irene introduced me with a smile.

"Hello, I'm (Y/N). Nice to meet you."

"Hi, my name's Joy." The tallest among them grinned.

"I'm Yeri." The one with a bubbly aura introduced herself.

The girl who has monolids also smiled. "Hey, you can call me Seulgi."

"My name's Wendy," the familiar one said.

"I think I should go now," I scratched the back of my neck shyly. "Irene's done touring me so you guys can eat together."

"Are you sure? You can eat together with us." Irene asked me.

I shook my head politely. As much as I still want to spend time with Irene and her friends, Grandpa must be bored by himself. Besides, Irene was done touring me so I think it's better to let her go with her business now.

"Babe,"

All of our attention were caught by the familiar handsome man casually striding towards where we were standing. He put his arm around Irene's shoulder in an intimate manner and gave her a peck on the lips. For a moment, I felt a prick on my heart inside me.

"Babe, you're here." Irene smiled at her boyfriend, a genuine one with adoration in her eyes. "I thought you're going to stay in your classroom."

"I felt hungry so I went here." Her boyfriend seemed to finally notice our presence as he greeted Irene's friends.

Irene's friends returned his greeting with smiles as his eyes eventually found me. His eyes widened slightly as if recognizing me.

"Oh, wait. You're that guy in the coffee shop?"

I nodded my head, "Ah yes, I'm (Y/N)."

"To give you a name to this face, I'm Suho." He sounded a bit arrogant or was that just only me. "Nice to see you here."

I only nodded my head and faced Irene, "I'll go now to Grandpa. Thank you for touring me."

"Okay,"

"Nice to mee you girls," I said to her friends and a polite nod towards Irene's boyfriend, Suho.

I started walking away before I heard Irene's voice calling out to me. It abruptly made me stop and smile momentarily.

"(Y/N), welcome to our school!"

A couple of days passed and it was time to attend school. This was going to be my first day of my back to school life. As expected, I was excited and woke up early. I decided to cook breakfast for us and after some time, Grandpa woke up as well.
