Irene's POV
I just woke up from the ringing of my alarm to which I slowly sat up and let out a yawn. At the same time, my door opened and Mom entered, heading straight to the windows and pushing the curtains to the side.
"Good morning, you should take a bath and eat with us."
"I will, good morning, Mom."
Mom nodded her head and exited the room. I stood up and headed for the bathroom. Today was school day again. I finished taking a shower and proceeded with changing clothes. I was a third year student in my final year in high school. I headed downstairs and joined my family in the dining room. I gave both my parents a kiss on the cheek before sitting down.
"How's Grandpa Yonghwan yesterday?" Dad asked as he sipped his coffee.
I took a bite of my breakfast meal, "He's good. He told me to come during weekends to help with the coffee shop."
"Honey, you should eat more." Mom said as she eyed my portion of food.
"I'm eating normal, Mom."
I finished my meal in no time and grabbed my bag upstairs. I came down and bid a goodbye to my parents who were still in the dining room.
"Mom, Dad! I'll go to school now!"
"Be careful, honey!" Mom yelled whilst Dad said loudly. "Be safe and come home early!"
I rolled my eyes at Dad's order for me to be home early. I left the house and started walking to school since it was walking distance from my house.
On the way there, I encountered and saw Wendy walking towards the school too. My lips curled upwards as I approached her.
"Good morning,"
"Good morning, unnie." Wendy replied.
We started walking to school and conversed about what happened yesterday. I told her about (Y/N).
"Hey, do you know the guy I bumped to yesterday? The mindlessly walking and soaking in the rain?"
Wendy nodded her head as she eyed me a confused look, "Yeah, what of him?"
"His name is (Y/N) and he met Grandpa when he was staying under the bridge as temporary shelter from the rain. Grandpa offered him a place to stay." I informed her.
"Really? That's weird, why did your grandfather offer him to stay with him? In the first place, is the guy even homeless?"
"Yes, apparently. I heard it from Grandpa. He was in a tough situation."
I didn't want to go into detail as to why he was homeless in the first place. We arrived at the school just in time and we quickly headed to our classrooms as the bell rang. I wasn't in the mood to study because of something that has been bugging me nonstop but I guess, I'll just have to suck it up and go to class.
"I'll talk to you and the girls later," I called out to Wendy.
"Okay, see you."

(Y/N)'s POV
"Oh, (Y/N). You're up early." Grandpa Yonghwan said as he went out of his bedroom.
I was just finished cooking at the moment as I took a sip of the soup I was cooking.
"Ah good morning, Grandpa." I smiled and offered him a seat. "I just finished cooking breakfast. I hope you don't mind me using the kitchen and cooking."
I was still feeling shy and embarrassed, this was my first day living here after all. I wished to be of use for Grandpa Yonghwan and not just be a freeloader.
