This happen in new moon when Bella cut herself at her birthday party and Carlisle fix her up.
After everything happened with Jasper and Bella's blood, Carlisle took Bella into his office to fix up the wound that she got. Bella just sat at the table watching how Carlisle move around his office gracefully while getting the supplies that he need.
Setting everything on the table, Carlisle pick up the alcohol pad and clean the area where Bella was bleeding at. After that he take the needle and trend and started patching Bella up.
Bella started asking Carlisle how can he not react to her blood like the others did, and he started telling her his life story of him becoming a doctor.
She was interested in the story that Carlisle was telling her that she felt for him and how he try to help everybody around him. Once Carlisle was finish patching Bella, he kiss her and sent her on her way.
Bella really felt the love that he gives to people around him and she really considering Carlisle to be the one to change her into a vampire instead of Edward doing it. Carlisle felt like a very real and genuine father figure that everyone should have in their life.
