Chapter 5

"Leila wake up!" Isabel screams.
"What, what is it!" I mumble still half asleep.
"You slept in!!" Isabel says in a panicked state.
"Shit! Shit! Shit!" I say frantically while jumping out of bed.

I raced to the bathroom to quickly brush my teeth and wash my face, threw some clothes on and barely made it to my first class.

First class was economics, it was my only class today.

After my class I decided to head to campus cafe.

The cafe was my safe place, most of the time. It was a quiet enough place where I could sit and study without anyone bothering me.

I sat down put my bags on the seat next to me and pulled out my English notes.

All of a sudden I see someone sit next to me, I look up and immediately recognise him, it was Henry.

"Hi" I said.
"Hey" he said with a slight smile. Very unusual.
"Why are you here?" I ask bluntly.
"What I can't study here too?" He said with a smirk on his face.
"I never said that" I respond, and continue studying.

A few minutes had passed of excruciating silence. When out of the blue he starts talking.

"So what are you studying today" he says. Why the fuck was he speaking to me.

"English, I need to catch up because I missed a few classes."

"Boring" he says while staring at his phone.

"Well if your so smart answer this" I quiz him on a few things.

He got every question right. Unbelievable.

"You were saying Miss brooks" he said with a grin his face.

"Ok I think I'm gonna head off." I say.
"Bye" he says.
"Bye" I say bluntly

I unlock the door, Isabel and Noah were there making out and hadn't noticed me so I decided to leave them to it and go for walk instead.

I walk around campus for a while until I decide to go to the cafe to read.

While I'm walking up to it Henry is just coming out the cafe.
"Weren't you just here like an hour ago"
"Uhh yeah" I say with a sheepish look.
He walked off saying nothing.

I sat down with my coffee and start reading, it's my favourite pastime and hobby if I'm being completely honest.

The cafe is such a relaxing place and sometimes I just come here to watch people. That might sound really fucking creepy but it's actually so fun seeing what everyone gets up to. Yeah ok I sound like a stalker.

It's been about two hours since I arrived here at the cafe and decide to head back as it's getting quite late they would be shutting soon.

I walk up up to my dorm and unlock the door when I see Isabel, Noah and Henry. What the fuck.

"There you are Leila I haven't seen you all afternoon" Isabel says with a smile.

"Hey yeah I was at the campus cafe studying" I say.

"I did try to call you to tell you Henry was coming over but you didn't answer" she says in a concerned voice.

"Yeah sorry about that I normally have my phone on silent when I'm in classes and must have forgotten to turn it back on"

"No worries anyway we were all thinking of getting pizza wanna come?"

"Oh um sure"

"Great ok let's get going" she says.

We all get to the pizza place and order, it's a booth, Isabel is on one end of the semi circle while Noah is at the other, leaving me and Henry squished together in the middle. How pleasant.

I talk to Isabel while Noah and Henry talk until the pizzas arrive.

"So" Noah starts.
"So?" I say wondering what utter shit is gonna come out his mouth.
"How have you been Miss Leila" he says
"I'm alright and yourself" I say still wondering where this is going.
"Fantastic" he says while looking at Henry then back at me.
Henry was in deep conversation with Isabel but once he noticed both me and Noah staring at him he slightly turned and told us that if we wanted his autograph all we had to do was ask. Dickhead.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I haven't been adding new chapters bc I've been changing the story slightly on the chapters I've already written.
So if you're a bit confused then dw it's just bc o didn't like how the story was going bc I started it a while ago x
