Luther isn't entirely surprised that Allison called a family meeting. He just wishes he knew what was going on. Diego looks equally confused. Klaus looks like he just rolled out of bed, which might be the case, given the fact that Allison felt like the best time to call a family meeting was at seven in the morning. Vanya looks vaguely suspicious, like them including her is just another thing they'll push her away for later. Luther shakes himself from his thoughts. "Allison, what's going on?" He's never seen the room they're in before. There are rows of old TVs behind Allison and a cabinet on the far wall. A VCR is set up on top of the cabinet.

Allison doesn't say anything. She just pushes a button on the VCR and lets a tape play. They watch in silence.

"Play that again," Diego says.

"We all saw it, Diego. There's no use in playing it again," Luther says.

Diego sighs, like Luther's being stupid. "I know that, jackass. I just wanna see if there's anything we missed the first time."

It's Luther's turn to sigh and he gestures for Allison to play the tape again. He's not in the mood for an argument today.

They watch it a second time.

"It doesn't make sense," Vanya says. "Why would Mom kill Dad?"

"We don't have any proof that Mom killed Dad," Diego snaps.

Vanya flinches. Allison glares at Diego, but it's not particularly strong.

"I don't know; I think this is proof enough," Luther says. He summons all the bravado he can as he stares at Diego. He's hoping Diego backs down. He really doesn't want an argument today.

Diego, as usual, doesn't back down. "Yeah, well, I think we should put it to a vote. All in favor that Mom's innocent?"

"Hang on, hang on," Klaus says. "We can't have a vote."

Diego looks like he's about to punch something. Or someone. "Why not." It's a question, but he doesn't say it like one.

"Because not everyone's here," Klaus explains, seemingly oblivious to Diego's brewing anger.

Luther glances over them. Allison, Klaus, Diego, Vanya and...

"He's right." He hates saying it, but the fact remains. "Five's not here."

Diego makes a strange noise. It sounds a little like a snarl. Luther wonders, vaguely, if he should shield Vanya. She's the closest to Diego and, as such, a perfect target for his anger.

"Ben's not here either and we're not counting him," Diego says.

There's a strange silence.

"Actually—"

"Five's not dead," Allison eventually says in a clipped tone, cutting Klaus off.

"Okay, fine. We'll wait for him," Diego mutters. "Where is the little psycho, anyway?"

They look at each other.

"The library?"

"Griddy's?"

"That eye place?"

They all take a second to stare at Klaus in confusion.

He shrugs. "Dunno, that was the last place I saw him. He left me stranded without my 20 bucks."

Luther doesn't even want to know. "Ok, so does anyone know where Five is?"

As usual with his siblings, he gets silence for an answer.

He sighs. "Great. Well, the vote's suspended until we find him."

Diego glares at him and storms out. Klaus follows, muttering something about quiche. Vanya slinks out next, leaving him and Allison alone. She stares at him for a long moment before she, too, leaves.

Luther waits until he can't hear her footsteps anymore before he leaves the room. He closes the door behind him, thoughts already turning to Five and where he could be.
